I remember my brother and 2 neighbors had monte Carlo's Our one neighbor had a cream color earlier model, it was pristine,. Than my friend Gary had a green one kinda rusted out. But still an amazing ride!!! It's nice to see someone keeping these cars alive on video!
I owned a 77 for 15 years it was a silver gray with a landau same color as the body with red wine interior and swivel bucket seats .350 4 barell power windows best car i ever owned nothing else compared to the drive I had a 135 grand on it when i traded it in the trade in was $3200
Bro good video but really anything from the year past 1988 not worth mentioning... hell with the 2000s Montes... mention the aerocoupes from the last SS Rwd from the 80's?
lol yea i know messed up sadly i can't fix that i cant do the voices after a crash 3 years now but i hope soon someday to be able to fix / thx so much for watchen

The 70 SS 454 cid, Monte was the 390 HP LS5 454, the LS4 made 360 Gross HP. get it right, friend. BOTH engines were virtually indestructible. UNknown to you and most, The LS6 454 WAS built in a few of the 70 and 71 SS units. The lower compression mandated by the F sticks at GM reduced LS6 HP/tq to 425/460-480 respectively. This depended on trend mission. TH400 or Muncie M22 Rock Crusher with 12 Bolt positive or limited slip in the lower performance 454 versions. GM really blew this one by going huge. with the 73 Monte, but people still bought it in droves
1970 -72 Chevrolet small block 400 motors had 4 bolt main motors. The 1973-76's only had 2 bolt mains. 1975 was the first year for mandated catalyst system was that was mandated on all U.S. automobiles.
Can watch this 100 times i never get tired of lookin at them. Beautiful cars
Those 1st and 2nd generation Monte Carlos were the best. I've had a 75 and have a76.and my brother has a70.
