You could just get an MP3 player. I got mine for cheap a few years ago and have like 250 songs on it, and there's still like 5 times the amount of extra space, so I can get a ton more. They're a great alternative, the only downside is that downloading all the songs you want can take a while, especially when you're adjusting the song's properties (in the case that you pirate download songs using a youtube to MP3 converter site).
I remember once listening to a song I liked without headphones for the first time. In one of the lines it had a little sound effect that went with the lyrics. You literally could not hear it without headphones on.
ah yes, we call that phase cancellation. meaning if one of the L & R channels of the audio signal is inverted, the sound will not be present when played on mono speaker systems (like on most mobile devices) 🤓
My Bluetooth earbuds actually do this type of thing, when you use just one it's like listening to the song just normally but when I put both of them one it separates and combines the song together at certain parts, for example when I listen to 'Hole-dwelling' by Kikuo,it feels like there's two separate people taking turns singing in each of my ears. It's really interesting. Another example is 'Aishite' also by Kikuo.
I love feeling like I'm physically INSIDE the song lol. I don’t want to be the drummer, or the drums, I want to be the beat. I want to live inside of the song, like the song lives inside of me. And a lot of the time whatever you do either too loud to hear the music or you NEED to hear it so you lower the music. For being outside I never had the habit to have headphones on (especially back when they were wired, I just didn't bother most times) and even now if I do, still a lot of times I just get lost in my thoughts and don't really pay that much attention. But all that is the effect and not the cause, since early age I just never had much of an investment in music or anyone in the family to get me into it, music was always smt passive for me for the longest time and only in the last 6-7 years did I start finding certain bands that actually resonated with me and I listened to deliberately, but still it remains mostly a passive background thing for me more so then the other way around (also a lot of the time it takes multiple listens to get into the music, and I'm usually not in the right mindset for that). I wish I was more into it, but these days I'm just too impatient for any meaningful non slop content (most times, but not all)

But there's nothing that can quite match the feeling of the sound being so powerful you can feel it, and loud AND GOOD speakers are my second favourite way of listening to music. The effect is completely different than listening to the dame music in headphones, I can't decide what's better
I have the same experience every time when it comes to video game OSTs, and just music in general. Once I listen to something with headphones, it’ll never sound the same again without them, because with the headphones, I’m able to hear some instruments that’s playing in the background that I’ve never noticed before when listening to them on my TV (not at half-full volume), or my phone (that doesn’t have a headphone jack.). This mostly applies to one of my favorite games, Splatoon, with its OST, and how many instruments they’ve used in it, especially when they used multiple sampled instruments, and sounds in the game’s OST, and most of them goes unnoticed when I listen to them during gameplay, but when I do eventually listen to it with headphones, it’s SO much more clearer, and richer to hear, especially when some parts of a music track “moves, or alternates” between your left, and right ears. Wearing headphones is the BIGGEST part of my life for why I enjoy video game OSTs, and everything music related as a whole. Too bad that you can’t get the same experience with poorly-made headphones, Bluetooth earbuds, and not having a device that supports headphones that requires an audio jack for them to work…

Depends on the type of speakers you're using. Some phone speakers actually aren't too shabby. Second, prolonged "straight in the ear" music/noises, may lead to health issues, such as tinnitus (a whistling noise in your ear with nothing but your brain causing it), ear infection, temporary or definite hear loss. There is an absolutely transcendental feeling to hearing new sounds in a song you've listened to 100 times because of the quality of the headphones. I urge anybody that absolutely LOVES music to invest into a pair of high fidelity headphones, don't mind the condescending bastards telling you "Uh, you akshually need these Furukawa copper cables and this DAC and amp to properly listen to music! As someone who is watching this with headphones I confirm
breakcore enjoyers
there's this one song I like that starts by playing in one ear before switching to the other and then back to the first and finally into the other one last time before it starts playing in both ears. it sounds a little weird when it's just playing through my phone's speaker
i wholeheartedly agree
Hole Dwelling by Kikuo is a song I literally CANNOT listen to without headphones. It'll have a quiet part, I'll have to turn it up, and then it gets TOO loud and I have to turn it back down. With headphones, I can still hear the quiet parts while having the louder parts at a good volume.
Not even mentioning all of the L R channel stuff it has going on. That song is a masterpiece.
thank you for the song recommendation
I write books with phonk. My talent hasnt been better
I am watching this video with headphones on except the headphones are conected to somthing else and not playing anything so i am watching this playing through my phone speaker, with headphones on.
Also I will very much be listening to the song WITH headphones right now
YEAHHHHSSSS AS YOU SHOUKD VERY GOOD SONGGGGGG
Idk why but that took me a while to read/process ahdusvusbsibdishxixhxjbc

making words make sense is not my strong suit 😳
I could tell this one was not the best in terms of "making sense" 😅
Oh and yes I enjoyed the song it was really cool :O
yeah pretty much
I've been listening through Yann Tomita's discography recently (look him up he's really cool I promise!) and I've been making sure to listen to each album with headphones on first
Me with bluetooth hearing aids: "Hello, I have bluetooth hearing aids."

I will never understand people who listen to music as a background to anything. Either I listen to it or I do something else
Idk I just like listening to the raw sound of music without headphones
If you get high quality speakers that fill a room with sound properly the experience transcends just sound
Yes, installing a good surround system in your room is the single best investment you can make imo. Better than listening to music is literally feeling it.
I get the feeling most people here have never listened to a properly good/tuned sound system, headphones can be amazing, but good speakers are peak immersion
@@rabywastaken My dad has an 8000 dollar system in his office and the sound was so amazing when you sat directly in the center that even on quiet volume, playing music I wasn't a fan of, I (a hard audiophile) was just, stuck, for 26 straight fucking minutes.
It has permanently damaged my ability to listen to anything else, nothing even compares to the quality of that system. Of course, there definitely is stuff but, like, nothing in my day to day can put me on that level again. It's intoxicating.
@@justv7536 damn, that's a lot of money 😅
Mine was around ~1000€, but it's still better than anything I've heard (except the Bose system at a friend's house, his is better ahah
It’s all fun and games until a camellia song comes on. No work, only dancing.
Sensitive ears, y'know.
How did you learn to animate? This is really good
Some self taught, mostly my animation classes in school, a lot of crying, yknow the usual LMAOO!!
When you listen to SOAD songs, is not important you listen with or without headphones. Both just kills you and fill with adrenaline so hard that you feel like you're fighting 1v1 with the Sun.
This is so true that it’s basically my username
Thats because I s u m m o n e d y o u
HEEEELLLPPP WHERE DID ALL OF YOU COME FROM?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
LIKE BOLY SHIT tHANK YOU SO MUCH?!??!?!!
SERIPUSLY THOUGH THANK YOUUUUUU GLAD LIKE THIS STUPID THING I MADE!!! I PROBABLY WON'T BE ABLE TO MAKE ONE FOR A WHILE BECAUSE IM ABOUT TO LOSE MY ACESS TO A HIGH GRADE NON LAGGING COMPUTER/FREE ADOBE ANIMATE BUT THANK YOU ALL THE SAMEEEEEE!!!!!!@
Oh hell yes, I always loved listening to music and feeling it so deep in my body (pause), even with the free pair of silly ear buds that came with my phone once, but man, once I purchased some high quality Hi-Fi headphones, I reached another spectral plane.
Did you even EQ your songs?", just buy something like a Hifiman Deva, Sundara, or Sennheisers.
I just want to spread this tip because it changed my whole passion for music.
Headphones just make it better like honestly
Ok, now listen to An Enigmatic Encounter and see what happens then. It only gets better if there is an animation on screen
idk bud, I barely wear headphones, I just blast it out so loud I can’t hear anything but the music
I mean I get that, sometimes i dont wear em and still enjoy it but like sometimes theres just certain sounds that hit your ears differently with headphones yknow what I mean?
@@queenoffishburrito112 hm, yeah, I get that. it’s nice to catch the tiny little details in songs :)
I have sensitive ears, so i can't always put them in. :-(
F in chat✋💀✋💀✋💀✋💀
(I understand the feeling though, I have to take them out after a while or else they start to hurt my ear canals:((( )
So glad to live in this era right 😩
