I'll always remember one of my Grandfather's wisdoms, though I can't remember exactly how he puts it...
"Just because someone isn't engaging with you, doesn't mean they dislike you."

      Hi Mr. Bones,
That quote from your grandfather is truly profound! It reflects wisdom and insight that can only come from a lifetime of experience. It seems like he was not only a mentor but also a remarkable individual to have in your life. Thanks for sharing such valuable words of wisdom. ☘💖

That is very true. One of my autistic nonverbal grandsons very rarely engages with people, but once in a while, when I make kissy noises at him, he will roll his eyes and either let me kiss his head, or else he will hold out the back of his hand for me to kiss.
🤣❤️ I love him so much!

      Dear Radiance,
It's great to hear that you resonate with the personality of this character. Here's a fun fact: sometimes I freeze just like the other character. There are moments when someone talks to me for ten minutes, and the last two minutes seem to vanish from my memory. Then, as they look at me expectantly, I suddenly snap back to attention. I realize I need to respond, but it's like I've missed a part of the conversation. It's a bit like waking up from a daydream! I've learned to be more aware of these moments, and it's made a big difference in my interactions. ✌😺

I have Autism and I also feel the same. I'm tired of talking to my "friends" (I hate them now they're not real friends, especially my exes with "adhd") just for them to ignore me. I don't care if they're shy or dont know what to say, just saying "yeah", "okay", or changing the topic entirely is enough for me because i also change the topic randomly when i ramble for hours. :)

Headcannon: ASD cat DOESN'T ignore/register ADHD cat's actions. They are fully aware. They just didn't get the social cue to play/react towards them -thinking ADHD might just need attention/need to release energy. To not interrupt them, ASD cat waits. When ADHD stops, ASD happily hugs her to show "Yes. I love you too."

I personally have ASD and there is a lingering guilt from not responding to loved ones messages but some days its just hard to respond at all let alone with my actual thoughts. Thats why when I have good days for communication I make sure to tell them how much their messages and connection means to me. That even when I dont respond im never annoyed and appreciate what they share. Its pure bliss that my partner understands this so well. They can immediately tell when im in a slump and find it hard to exist while being perceived and will send even more stuff so when i feel more up for it I have a lot i can respond to with no pressure on when.

      @teddy-behr 6 месяцев назад +6

@@shyryTsr2k hi! An autistic here, I actually I can answer those questions: commercial limes are sold underripe. Fully ripened limes are yellow like lemons are!
The color orange is named after the fruit, the fruit isn't named after the color. The fruit came first!
Tomatoes and pumpkins are fruit but in cooking they're used the same as vegetables because they're savory instead of sweet. This goes for other savory fruits such as olives and avocados!
Celery is a stalk of the Celery plant, a stem, which stems are the things that carry water through the plant.
      Hope I helped !!

And wait so Oranges were grown before the color became a color? Rainbows have been around since forever haven't they? So wouldn't early humans know about the color before the fruits? Idk wild guess haha.
Also what you're saying is savory fruits are USED as vegetables but are not vegetables? Also why not eat the whole plant instead of just the stem of the plant or is that already a thing I don't know about?
Sorry if I'm overstimulating your brain lol just so many questions in the universe and not enough answers...

@shyryTsr2k ugh bro I was writing a response but RUclips deleted it so this one isn't going to be as enthusiastic bc I'm annoyed now lol sorry, but anyway
You're a little confused about the lime fact, they're still different fruits, limes are just sold unripe because.. uh I don't actually know why, besides that they want it to taste unripe? But yeah they're still different fruits, both are just yellow when ripe :)
"The earliest uses of the word in English refer to the fruit, and the color was later named after the fruit. Before the English-speaking world was exposed to the fruit, the color was referred to as "yellow-red" (geoluread in Old English) or "red-yellow". - Wikipedia page for the word orange
So the color totally existed but they didn't start calling it after the fruit until a LOT later
Also, all parts of the Celery plant are edible! People just eat the stalks because that's.. what they do? Maybe it tastes better than the leafy parts, I don't like Celery personally lol so I can't confirm or deny this

It is funny how neurodivergents attract each other. My college club was made up of people with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, etc. It was our safe space.
The only people I can't seem to detect are extroverted neurodivergents. I can't really be sure.

I haven't been in many relationships at all, maybe a few with people I fully trust and still think about and care for, however all of my exes are neurodivergent just like me and I started to realize it's because I can understand them and they understand me and I just feel so comfortable with people like me... That's not to say I wouldn't go out with a girl who's neurotypical, it's just that I can relate so well to people with neurodivergency and it makes life so much more fun when we can be neurodivergent together😂

I have Autism and apparently I'm very extroverted, I'm just silent when I'm not around people who talk about the things I do. I honestly doubt I'm extroverted, I'm always shy, fearing of being judged, silent, scared, and definitely wanting to stay away from people at all times unless they share an interest of mine... isn't that being introverted?

    • @RandomGuy0400
      @RandomGuy0400 6 месяцев назад +3

@@Someone-so4zy tbh I think treating introversion vs extroversion as a binary is kinda problematic... Like, I tend to act more extroverted around people I know and when interacting with their friend groups, but on my own, when I don't have a particular friend or shared interest to act as a sort of catalyst, I tend to be more quiet and usually avoid interacting with people unless they initiate the conversation...
And I don't really hate being alone, but I don't hate being around people either... I need to have some human interaction to maintain my mental health, but at the same time, it can be draining to meet new people, try new things, and visit new places...
I guess you could compare me to a capacitor in an electric circuit; I can store and output energy, but I'm not that useful without a larger power source to provide charge intermittently... I also don't like conflict and tend to try and smooth out discrepancies... Like how capacitors are sometimes used to even out an alternating power source to provide a more steady current (like in a diode bridge rectifier, for example, where a capacitor is used in combination with diodes and a resistor to convert AC power to DC power)

I feel this. My Girlfriend will sometimes do the same where she will come to me and do exactly that. And while I'm aware that she's there, I don't always catch the intent that she wants to do something together or wants to go someplace.
I always thought I was just being paranoid beforehand. Like Idk why but when at Work or an unfamiliar place, I'm always looking out but then at home or a familiar place, I can relax a little but will still pick up on things happening around me, like the Ice Maker, or noises happening outside.
That kinda sensory overload tends to be a bit overwhelming and I often just default to unresponsiveness.
Thanks for your animations. Maybe I'm not always getting everything, but I feel like I'm more learned about myself and others around me.

It's my pleasure, @FrinniferFran. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with me! I am grateful that my animations help you understand more about yourself. Based on what you've shared, there's a possibility that you might be on the spectrum or be a highly sensitive person.
If this resonates with you, you might have felt different from others your whole life, especially regarding social cues and interactions. You might find it challenging to understand why people interact in certain ways that seem unfamiliar to you. For example, people might be laughing at something, and you don't understand why, or there could be other social situations where you feel out of sync.
Exploring this further might give you more insight into your experiences and help you navigate them better. Wishing you all the best on this journey of self-discovery! ☘✌
