I need to get to 200 by Summer and 150 by Christmas. Pray for me. I’m going to start walking more, drinking more water, eating less junk food, eating smaller portions, eating no more meat, and building a booty. I already lost 23 pounds. Time to lose some more.

You're soooo right about it being "easier to lose" than to maintain. I lost 40 lbs four years ago, gained 20 back two years ago (which was fine) and now back at my old weight from four years ago. To anybody who is restarting their journey, you did NOT fail. Life is a journey. Do what you can, offer yourself grace, pace yourself, and get back into it. It's mental for me, as well, so I've had to add mental health exercises/therapy/prayer/journaling as well! Love y'all and keep pushing! Love this Dawn and thank you!

I love your message and testimonies. I'm 5 months in and 46 pounds down. Every time I feel some type of way, you are hitting the nail on the head. Consistancy is key and you remind me of that every post. I do have my slip ups and I go hard on myself but have to remind myself that this journey isnt perfect and that I'm still closer to my goals then I was 5 months ago. Thanks for your transparency and relatability.

I lost 50 pounds. That day I found out I hit the 50 mark I tested positive for Covid (2020). Covid and depression stole my motivation and I gained 56 pounds back by 2022. I am now back motivated and trying to get it back right. I lost 11 pounds and now I have been walking 5 days a week for just a mile. This is week 3. The walking is coming back. I gained and lost the same 2-4 pounds. I know it takes times but I need to see more. Now previously I would walk 2-3 miles a day 5-6 times a week. I’m trying not to get discouraged but I want to see the scale move a bit. I am doing IF as well like every other day.

I went hard to drop like 30lbs then I took it steady to drop a remaining 40lbs, losing weight is a process. I’ve kept the weight off for a long time now and now I’m looking to get into losing an additional 40lbs to be at my target weight and I’m very happy because I changed a lot. I use to drink Sodas, Energy Drinks and eat out EVERYDAY! My schedule would involve going to a fast-food chain, getting some breakfast, then snack at work, then go to a fast-food place for lunch and finally go home and kill a whole pizza. Now, I wake up, make me some breakfast like egg white omelette, make my lunch for work, eat a snack while at work if I get hungry, then eat my packed lunch, come home rest a little bit, maybe get a small snack, go to the gym for about half an hour, then come home make me some dinner but I’ll eat whatever I want to make. Last time I had Green Salsa Pork with some white rice, topped with queso fresco and onions served with some tortillas and it was bomb! 🤤 My point being is that with good weight loss comes change, and I completely gave up sodas, energy drinks, and limit how often I go out to eat.

To help figure out what your calorie deficit should be, track for two weeks what you eat, dont aim to change anything in those two weeks but that will help show your where you are starting from then aim to choose your calorie deficit and see how you get on. I agree what she says in terms of eating regularly so not being hungry throughout the day.

The optimal manner to begin a weight loss journey will always be an effecitve bowel cleansing: So, take at least every second day early in the morning on an empty stomach 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil in order to prevent an intestinal blockage, for in the case that you will eat a lot of fruits or vegetables your large intestine will be really filled and you will remark this one occasionally unpleasant, this especially during the night.
