I've been doing this recipe since the first time I saw it and it's delicious. Sometimes I mix it up a bit, I add some forest fruits on top, or some nuts, or some pomegranates.
Okay, Ingrid. The DIYDezember is just the best calendar I've ever seen! Seriously! You put so much effort and love in it and YOU are the reason I get more exited every day for christmas.. Even if I'm not very happy this year, you bring the smile back to my face. Thank you SO much!
I love how you stick with the diy December routine, not many youtubers can make the full commitment. I love going at night to my iPad and looking forward to your new videos. love you Ingrid 😘
If you're not a fan of chunks, you can mash the banana in a separate bowl before mixing it in with the oatmeal. I do this when I'm making oatmeal cookies and I think it works better!
I just watched ALL of your food videos back and they make me feel so relaxed and calm, and I love them-I just made this the morning and it was SOOOO good!
Im so impressed about your DIYDecember marathon already. Videos don't feel rushed at all, they are so creative and just really entertaining to watch. Needless to say, you are gorgeous in every one of them! I never really gotten chocolate calenders(small frutration of mine) but this is 10 times sweeter! Thanks from Switzerland!
I'm going to do this but instead of cutting the apple into bite size pieces I'm going to grate it into my porridge and stir it through with some mashed banana and instead of the crumble topping I'm going to add raisins, cinnamon and brown sugar for the sweetness and mix them all through so they're incorporated throughout the porridge at the end. So then it'll make a sort of apple cinnamon raisin porridge with a subtle caramel flavour from the brown sugar. Yum
Ingrid, you have become such a grown woman! I really look up to you and wan't to be as positive and creative as you when i move out. Your videoes inspire me everyday to get on with my day happy and confident! You where the first youtuber i explored for a few years ago(when you first started youtube) and everyday i get so proud watching your videos knowing you have acomplished so many things and become who you are today! You are the most amazing girl! Xoxo💕
OMG... I wouldn't have imagined that you could do this kind of recipes with oatmeal... in my country people gives it a different cooking way, definitely going to try this one!!
Yummy! I made this super quick with instant oats (5 mins on stove or a few mins in microwave; I did stove) added a drop of vanilla extract while the milk&water was boiling, added oats and cooked. For the crumble I used my magic bullet and just sprinkled some on top of the cooked warm oatmeal and mixed it together. WOW so De-Lish! Thank you Ingrid!!
ingrid i just wanted to say thank you for being on schedule with your videos :) I know putting up a video is hard so i really appreciate what you have done, it is hard to find that sort of commitment in youtubers. thanks! love the vids :)
Wow! Impressed with your videos!! You're really rocking it out, and the video quality is amazing. It's nice to see someone put so much effort into their videos combined with the consistency of posting. Great job, Ingrid!!
I'm really enjoying this series! A lot of people I subscribe to are doing vlogmas so it can get kind of old, but I love the holiday themed videos! And you are gorgeous!
This looks like such a yummy recipe! I love oatmeal and this sounds perfect for these colder months. Thank you for sharing, Ingrid! **Just a little helpful tip:** Ingrid used steel cut oats in this recipe which requires a different ratio of liquid to dry oats. If you are using rolled or quick oats (which are most common) you will want to use much less liquid than what is used in this recipe. Be sure to follow the instructions found on the packaging on the type you are using. I do, however, highly suggest you do half water and half milk like Ingrid suggested. It is SO delicious!
Ingrid, I love how you are starting to incorporate health and fitness into your videos and life overall! I'm trying to do the same and it's so fun to see your ideas! Thank you for the hard work you put into your videos. It shows. I also love your idea for DIY December instead of Vlogmas. It's wonderful and I'm enjoying looking forward to a new video every day!
I wish we could meet this serving #2 person, we've all seen him. Lol :D I am not an oatmeal person at all but the part that made it sound good was adding in the bananas. I may have to try that one time and see how that goes. Oh and could you do a winter/Christmas get ready with me, please?
that may sound a bit weird: but the idea to watch a video of you every day makes me kinda happy and helps me to get through the day. what´s better than watch your videos after uni :) I really like those videos and I get this christmas vibe which I am not feeling where I live. thanks for that! :)
I love making this the night before on school nights (Every extra minute of sleep for me counts hehe)&& I feel so pampered the next morning- great way to start my day! I omit the crumble since I'm trying to eat clean (12 week challenge w/ Blogilates!) but its yummy nonetheless :D Thanks~
I tried it and it was SO good! The crumble topping tasted to much like flour, so I added honey and it tasted way better! I l also drizzled honey on top of the oatmeal too. I'm definitely going to try this again!
Loved this! My only side comment is the recipe written down under video said 1 cup flour....but in the video it says 1/2 cup flour. Soo trying a second time round the 1/2 cup flour was part of the crumble recipe! Tastes reallly good!
Adding mashed banana to my oatmeal is the only way I can eat it:) I have two healthy oatmeal recipe videos on my channel if you would like to check them out! Keep up the amazing work missglamorazzi I know it takes a lot of time and dedication to put up videos everyday for a whole month! but your doing great :) xo
People saying this is time consuming are crazy lazy, lol. Wake up 30 mins earlier than usual, I mean damn. It's not a gourmet breakfast- just a delicious oatmeal.
I love oatmeal! I have it for breakfast every morning. I make it with almond milk and I also add a bit of honey and salt. And when it's ready then I add some frozen blueberries. Delicious! But now I want to try your recipe :D It looks very good!!!
That sounds and looks delicious! Tried it but I added some pumpkin pie spice into it and deleted the banana. It was AWESOME!!!! Try it! I think you'll love it too! Thanks for the recipe Ingrid!!! Loving the DIY DECEMBER! Deb
MMMM! I have never really been a fan of oatmeal too, so I gotta try this recipe!!! This month so far I have always been super excited to watch your videos!! Thank you so much for posting daily!!! xoxo
What is it with RUclipsrs making the simplest things look so special and amazing...that was the prettiest apple I've ever seen!
I've been doing this recipe since the first time I saw it and it's delicious. Sometimes I mix it up a bit, I add some forest fruits on top, or some nuts, or some pomegranates.

forgot about the raisins and berries. topped with maple syrup and molasses is another nice variation.
tried it very delicious. Ingrid you are amazing!

People saying this is time consuming are crazy lazy, lol. Wake up 30 mins earlier than usual, I mean damn. It's not a gourmet breakfast- just a delicious oatmeal.
I agree! Just put it all together, and get ready while it's cooking, haha. Problem solved.
Steph Southwell or maybe do this recipe on the weekends... its so annyoing these people that complain about everything.
Preach it, Leti! (:
Haha heyyyy giiiirl! :) ***** man, the pain of filming sometimes... people will complain about anything, right? LOL!
I love oatmeal! I have it for breakfast every morning. I make it with almond milk and I also add a bit of honey and salt. And when it's ready then I add some frozen blueberries. Delicious! But now I want to try your recipe :D It looks very good!!!
Sorry if I missed it but where is Nugget? Still at her mums? Hope doing well, I miss that little kitten :) happy Holiday!
I just did this!! Cannot believe that I waited this long to make it!!! Thanks Ingrid!!!
You should have mentioned that you used steel cut oats where 1 portion is 1/4 a cup whereas regular quick oats is 1/2 a cup. Great recipe though ;)
thank you I have always thought oatmeal taste kind of blah and now I know how to add some flavor and make it taste better
Why did she do 2 servings?
i think it's just easier to make two of them and put the leftovers in the fridge for "tomorrow"
she has a boyfriend, so maybe for him too xx
marisa ioannou she does? how do you know?
minkakemi they've made videos together, his name is luke, he is also in some of catrifics vlogs that she's done when with ingrid xx

I'm seriously loving this series. And I'm so gonna try this tomorrow!! Thank you so much!
You waste that whole cube of apple?! Please tell me you have a compost?!
Do you normally eat the core...?
Yeah, pretty much. I get off way more than that! And I wouldn't technically call THAT the core…
I eat oatmeal all the time and thanks for putting a new spin on the traditional method. I will make this for my kids too!!
You are so gorgeous!!!! :)
I love that you follow through when you promise a series (ie makeup MAYhem or diydecember)! :)
Where's Nugget? Did yo give him up? :(
