You truly are a despot of animation. Using the zooming technique to this effect in post production was a great idea. Way to level up. I didn't think that you could make perfect even better... But you did. Also excellent music. Reading is half the battle.
Yeah. I originally used a webcam and then switched to my phone when I found a way to tether it like a webcam. Then I switched to my DSLR. I think Meg was the only photo set I took with my tethered phone. I have some older videos where I tried to do pans and zooms (and rotations) in post, but the movements looked too... smooth - artificial. So now I do all the moves during the shoot. Saves time on post anyway.
i wanna design these things when i am old enough for a job. not only do i get to come up with cool ideas, but get to play with toys for my job. and i can get free ones
Your videos are absolutely mind blowing. How are you locking your figures down while being able to make the parts of the transformation happen? Or, are you just that patient at lining it back up after each adjustment?
It's a combination of things. Sticky tac helps, along with a steady hand and if need be patient resetting as you said. Plus a lot of planning and practice to cut down on the need to reset by understanding where to apply leverage without disturbing the rest of the figure.
pretending ft megatron's already out, i wish we knew what he turned into on cybertron. then he'd be more appealing with a different disguise besides a realistic gun. signed, thomas
@@peolesdru I am stuck after I put those parts around his head together. Completely stuck. I don't know what to do next. I watched RUclips videos but they are not helpful. Maybe I am simply too clumsy to do it.

@@peolesdru Exactly. Your videos are great but I am terrified when I see what has to be done. It is a toy but the transformation is like a rocket science to me. Can't remember all the steps not in a million years. Thanks for trying to help anyway.
Amazing sync with the music! Zoom to completely transformed megatron's face just as the music would have said "the decepticons" Amazing job!!!
That was completely intentional and you're the first person to notice it. Thanks!

Zooms weren't in post! Those were in-camera on my cellphone. Took these pictures before I got my Canon.
YOU'RE KRAZEE! At least tell me you were controlling your phone through some sort of tethering system, and not physically touching the phone.

This is, hands-down, your best work. The effort in choosing your shots and angles is seriously fuckin' apparent.
Thanks!
I love the way they handled the legs
Those were a high point of the design. Almost everyone transforms the feet wrong.
Awesome job again man! Looks much better.
Oh and I guess despot? Lol.
Thanks!

An amazing piece, as accurate as it can get!
Second favorite figure ever - so far.
Keep in mind that all this is supposed to happen in roughly the same amount of time that it typically takes to start a car engine.
I can do it in about 6 minutes: ruclips.net/video/BsvNGcenHzA/видео.html
Great work as always!! Despot despot despot : )
Thanks!
The version 2 Masterpiece G1 Megatron mold needs a version 3 remold.

I've never heard of a FT Megatron.
@@peolesdru that's why im pretending it exists. did you not catch that?
"pretending x exists at all" and "pretending x is already out" can be interpreted differently.
This music is so absolutely awesome, I will use as ringtone hehehehe
Too bad if I use their music my video gets demonitized even though I got permission from them.
@@peolesdru What!!? Man, RUclips Is getting crazy
Why does this look so easy but when you try jt yourself you break it?
Megatron must have been a bitch to maintain. No wonder the likes of Starscream wanted him out of the picture.
Can you do the legs a little faster?!
No.
You did an amazing job but I still can't transform it.
Are you stuck on any particular step or are you just afraid to do it at all?

68 steps
one step too far from greatness
