I'm happy that Ocular Max decided to make a combiner that actually feels like a combiner, and doesn't need an entire torso piece to form the combined robot. *cough* Zeta Toys *cough*
I’m with ya, though I do get the appeal of zeta toga’s briticus since it all in all look very clean, it’s just I personally do not care for having the waist and chest be a glorified cup holder.
Hey man I know your comment is from a year ago, but I’m getting Incursus for Christmas and I wanted to know something: which transformation out of all the Combaticons would you say is the most complex?
@@domthe5260 As someone who owns and loves this set and found this comment 5 months later, I'd have to say Swindle aka Fraudo has the most complex transformation by a narrow margin.
@@domthe5260 Yeah the arms and chest are a lot to wrap your head around. It makes sense once you've done it a few times and get it into more places in your memory (if that makes sense), and same for the steps for leg mode. It's not like it's unintuitive, but just about everything else in the set is *very* intuitive. Vortex's collapsing tail that stores entirely in his chest and the way the helicopter bends in the middle when you're freeing his legs for robot mode would be hard to figure out without any kind of guide, but once you know them, they're surprisingly straightforward, so I guess he'd be the next most complicated. I got this set because I wanted a good representation of what third party can be/do in my collection, and man it cost a ton but it's so fun I can't regret it. I also went on to get a few other MP-style figures as representatives of this and that (an official MP, a Fans Toys, etc.), so I'm not completely biased on this set, but maybe a bit haha.
I gotta say... I'm super grateful for your channel as it's probably the fastest way to get a rundown of a transformation and that's especially helpful when looking at a combiner. Also, your music taste is right up my alley, so that's a bonus. Thank you for your uploads!
This is my whole purpose (besides doing it for my own use later). Be aware that for most triple-changers I have sequence for any of the six possible transformations in the speed run. When I have to use my own videos, I just use the appropriate speed run on a computer and use the , and . keys to go frame by frame and follow along. This procedure is all in the description along with timestamps to skip to the desired speed run sequence. Ethan Meixsell is an amazing guitarist.
Gosh, this does a great job showing the fantastic engineering MMC poured into designing this thing. Video came out amazing! I know I'm going to gradually be purchasing this set, and I'm happy to have been subbed long enough to see all the members of the team get showcased. I really hope MMC makes a devastator after Defensor, it's about time we get a purple-wing-chest-plate worked into Longhaul.
peolesdru you’re very welcome! I appreciate the time you take to animate the transformations, while making sure that every piece is shown animated. Plus the artistry of your videos. Most just show and compare. I love how different your videos are. Keep up the great work!
I didn't even realize Onslaught had been updated with the upgrade parts on the turn table after he transformed without it until seeing the full combined mode.
peolesdru I should try using premiere also. I’ve got a hundred excuses for not making anything in quite a while. I’ll get back to it eventually. Till then I’m enjoying watching everyone else’s great stop motions.

Hilariously enough there IS a lot of mass shifting on these figures, but it's for the ones who don't need it, like Brawl and Vortex! And it's also to make them smaller instead of bigger 😂
@@peolesdru I saw it but that's just a small part of overload video. I mean what if you make a video that mainly focus on devastator! People usually look up for devastator more than just overload, so I think it would make more issue too.

@@peolesdru just asking because I'm torn between the 2 Defensors I have 2 of the X-transbots figures but now I'm seeing the Ocular Max bots that they have out now and I like them better. The combiner size is a factor with me since I have X-Transbots Menasor and Jin bao Devestator.
@@jeremynelson7920 The MMC combiners seem to be hitting a bit smaller scale than the other guys, but if you asked me to choose between MMC and , I would choose MMC.

I don't have the two to compare in person, but the Zeta one is taller, at the cost of just wadding up Onslaught and stuffing him in a pre-existing chest. I chose the MMC All-Built-In version because it feels like a more pure combiner experience. With Zeta when you take apart the combiner, you have a hollow torso, hips, and thighs left over. I'm a transformation guy, not a scaling purist.
I just had an idea! What if, for these big multiple character videos, you did some sort of character select ui like Hasbro did with their SEIGE official stop motion? Just a thought lmao, I really like the transitions already 😂 These are some of my favorite videos on this website :)
No particular place. I got mine from ShowZStore. You'd have to track them down one by one because there was never a set. What you see is the five figures plus the Add-on kit to change the chest plate and give him bigger feet and a bigger gun.
Because they design most of the mass-market figures for Hasbro and are the distributor for those figures in the Japanese market. But I get your point - MMC Assaultus is amazing.
I'm usually on the Autobots side on the whole but these guys and the Big Guy (Bruticus) that they combine into still remain my favorite. The Quality of these toys looks pretty solid. The only issue for me is with the feet. What's with those seperate footpad things ?! They just look lame and not natural.

Best. Bruticus. Ever. I especially love the little Boot Upgrade parts to give him animation-accurate combined mode feet.
