Hey guys! 🕷️ I did check out the alternative ending after this reaction (wasn’t aware of it beforehand) but I definitely agree with the majority of the audience. Alternative ending was much better and makes a lot more sense to me. CANT wait for the second part 🎉❤

The reason many people dislike the movie is because there are two endings of the movie. Literally the only reason 😑
I like the alternate ending more- Meaning that though the Dark seekers have animal instincts they maintain some human attributes. Ability to love each other and to fight for one another. I also believe they knew where Robert was the whole time but never bothered him because he never bother them.(How else would they know Robert went to the movie store) The main Dark Seeker had no reason to kill Robert as he saw both his and Robert actions was selfish. Robert nor Darkseeker wanted to be alone. Though Robert was saving her he was taking away his wife. Darkseeker understood it more and felt since Robert lost his dog but gained friends ( The women & her son)made them even.

1 way of not losing it is to solve problems ether in your head or physically...
Eg Tire rot, how to make alternatives for tires, steel rim wrapped in rope about 4 inch's above the rim secured with steel straps then wrapped in layers of leather then soaked in tar to waterproof them....
Yes, that is a six year old Willow Smith playing his daughter in the movie. Funny because Will said that she was a little jealous with the attention that Jaden received for The Pursuit of Happyness, so he put her this movie to make her feel better. 😂

The Alternate Ending is even sadder yet poetic at the same time, instead of blowing himself up with the grenade, Robert discovered that the hemocytes came for the female he captured earlier in the film. He relieves her of the cure and returns her to the hemocytes. 😢

One of the greatest performances in a film ever, just off the fact he had to carry the film by himself and it still was great, not many actors in the history of cinema can say they were able to do that, let alone be successful with it.
1. This is my favorite Will Smith movie.
2.The part that gave me real respect for Will Smith is the scene where he's talking to the mannequin right after having to kill his best/only friend and says,
"Please say hello to me."😭 THAT'S acting. Where did he go to get that?. 😎
3. This film is mostly a remake of "The Last Man On Earth" and "The Omega Man" staring Charlton Heston.
4. The wild animals escaped from the Manhattan Zoo.
5. He was saving the bacon for Samantha.
6. There's speculation that he's the bad guy because he's the hunter now.
7. I absolutely fell in love/LUST with Alice Braga after I saw this movie. 😍
8. The female was the leader's squeeze.
9. I prefer this ending, where he sacrifices himself..
The "I Am Legend" film is mostly considered a remake towards "The Omega Man" because they have similar parts to each other than the "The Last Man Standing" does, but all 3 films are adaptations to the novel "I Am Legend" "The Last Man Standing" story is closest to the novels story
Fun fact: Will Smith is known to memories his cast members lines. So that moment with him repeating donkey line is extremely accurate.

Yooooo at 21:59 the mannequin head moved. As many times I've saw this movie, oh my gosh, that spooked me, got my eyes tearing up. I never knew the head actually moved does 1 minute in the scene you see the mannequin head is facing the opposite with, but then when the car stops the head, moved directly at his position that is scary. I probably recognize it before but oh my gosh that is scary. I probably recognize the mannequin head boom many times about those just my imagination but oh my gosh that is scary. If that is actually a stunt double and a cameraman accidentally saw the stunt person moving their head then boooooo. if not, and that's just actually how the movie is that is scary

I’m glad you watched the alternative ending, the sequel is going off that and Michael B Jordan has signed on to be in the sequel with Will. Also, they are vampires. Definitely check out the book! Will Smith never disappointed in his movies he always brings a fire and burn it down when it comes with Excellency experience and focus. And on a personal note I kinda cried when I see movies like this because it makes me think of what will happen if something like that was to happen today in our generation now

Personally, I believe you when you say you haven't seen these movies.
There is something to be gained from people lying though. People are more likely to watch a first time reaction than a rewatch. Therein lies the reason some reactors would lie about it.

Yea this is one of my top favorite will smith movies in terms of stand alone but in terms of not standalone protagonist I would throw in bad boys movie collection

In the book Smith's character is the only human left in a world FULL of vampires. He goes out during the day, when they are sleep, and he kills them. HE is the vampire's equivalent of Dracula. Therefore HE becomes a 'LEGEND' that they fear.
Check out the after credit scene on Hancock, It's hillarious!!!

One thing that was so unique about this movie is that there is no suspense music, happy music, sad music, build up music, or any background music at all! its just the sound of what's going on.

I don't like the movie because the book is way better. Neville was basically the bad guy to the monestes (vampires) because he was hunting them in the day when they slept. They feared him so he was the "legend".

Hey MJ how are you?? I love that movie, I am Legend (2007), watched this numerous times over the years and those vampiric cannibalistic mutants are terrifying!!! Will Smith's performance was outstanding, he and the German Shepard dog were a great duo together in this film. So sad that Samantha dies when Neville had to choke her to death due to being infected from those creepy ass dogs. It's also tragic that Neville had to sacrificed his own life by exploding killing the dark seekers and himself!!! Great reaction❤

Although I do not like rewatching this movie due to what he had to do to Sam, I Am Legend is a very underrated movie. Low key this could have been a best actor nomination for Will if the competition was so fierce in 07.
Even though this movie is not traditional horror, I do agree that it is a scary movie. Not for the jump scares or the zombies, but because of the idea of being stranded in this post apocalyptic world with no loved ones.

I saw this movie for the first time when I was 6. Im 18, seen it many times and JUST NOW noticing the butterfly connection💀
This film is (very) loosely based off a novel of the same name from the '50s. In the novel Neville ultimately realizes that the infected are just a new evolution of humans, and that his kidnapping them to perform tests on them makes him their boogyman; i.e "I am legend".
Actually, him talking to the mannequins like that and pretending as tho life is still normal, is what will save your life if you’re in a situation like that. Doesn’t mean you’re insane. It means he’s doing it to keep himself from going insane.
A different perspective is the Zombies see Dr. Robert Neville as the monster. He"s been taking Zombies and experimenting on them for years from all the pictures on his wall. They see him as the monster that comes out in the Daytime. Kinda cool to think about it from both sides.
He was returning dvd’s on time and having conversations with them mannequin ass “people” and all that to try and stay sane, to keep some level of normalcy in his life…if he just accepted the nightmare that he was in he woulda really went loco loco

Could have been an interesting remake as having nothing to offer at all on any level apart from the ending which they changed to make it he just killed them all. The End. A very important point in cinema when this film came out it needed to be special and it was the polar opposite.
