If you didn't notice his daughter in the movie is Willow Smith. His real life daughter. She did an amazing job!
lol its like his kids inherited the gene
@evangusimagine having the opportunity to be an amazing actor and brought up by an incredible actor to just spit on his face 😂 sad
The scene where Will Smith sat craddling his doggy, knowing full well that he had no choice but to end her life was the most devastating of the movie. We all love dogs. And if we own one, or have ever owned one we all know the pain in the heart when we lose them!
When I watched the original Last man on earth ( 1964 ) with Vincent price I remember him laying on the couch with a little hand pump and ivs to him and the dog and he pumped it all night and saved the dog since he's immune . When I rewatched it years later he also killed the dog so I have no clue where I got the image of him saving it but I like my way better .
I could not agree more mate@@ronpaul1082
It broke my heart too😢
i hate dogs, but i love other animals, so i pretend its a squirrel for example
You must be one piece of work@@danieljackson4511
The title "I am Legend" comes from the fact that the monsters were just as smart as regular people, had created their own culture, and they considered Robert Neville to be the "Boogey Man" because he hunted and killed them. Hence, among the monsters, he' become a legend.
Hard disagree
@@HD00957 Read the book it's all based on. The character in the book SAYS. AS. MUCH. You can diagree all you want - AUTHORS say otherwise.
I need to
Fun small detail : when Dr Neville first sees Frank across the bridge you can see Franks head move to stare at him.
Based on the 1954 novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, which was also adapted into the films The Last Man on Earth (1964), starring Vincent Price, and The Omega Man (1971), starring Charlton Heston.
The 54 and 71 iterations were much better.
@@tacticorememes The only thing better about this version is Mike Patton does all the infected sound effects with his amazing voice.
It would be great if they watch "The Last Man on Earth" & "The Omega Man" to compare all 3.
The Omega Man is my favroite. I saw it in the theatre in 71. Plus it was ground breaking that Charlton Heston had them cast a Black woman as his love interest.
Beat me to it 😂 👍
Be sure to check out the alternative ending. It's much better and truer to the novel than the 'Hollywood' ending that ended up being used. Will avoid spoilers here for anyone who hasn't seen it, but the alternative ending is ambiguous, deeper and thought provoking. It will give you an entirely new perspective on Will Smith as the titular "legend".
The alternative is what I figured out n my mind…..❤❤
The sequel will also be based off the alternate ending
@@metascrub285 Yep. Pretty much universally recognised by the director, critics, and audience as the superior ending nowadays.
I think they're making a sequel based on the alternate ending.
Everyone is exactly right. The sequel will follow the alternate ending
Will Smith is and was a rapper wayyyyy before acting. with a lot of number 1 songs.
Parents just don’t understand!!! We used to know every word of that song 😅😅😅
Yeah everyone knows this.
Yeah but even in the rapping community he was considered a pop rapper. bubblegum rap.
@lalarea180 - Bro he was the FIRST rapper to win a Grammy and that was for his stuff in the 80’s/90s. You’re speaking on his miami album and men in black. Sit down
Now he's a slapper.
Fun fact, the zombie vocalizations in this movie were all performed by Mike Patton, the lead singer of Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Mondo Kane and a bunch of other bands. He also did the zombies in the game Left 4 Dead, one of the “Anger Sphere” A.I. voice in the game Portal and a bunch of other video game voiceover work. Talk about a legend.
Oh wow, really?
Wow I didn't know that. That's so cool.
Didnt see this until now...funny that we both started our comments with "Fun Fact" lmao
He was the demon in The Darkness
A real fun fact, there are no zombies in this movie. The creatures are vampires.
I’ve only cried in a movie 3 times. Green Mile Electric Chair, Lion King Mufasa Dies, and Will Smith’s dog dies in I Am Legend. I lost it in theaters when he was holding him and began tearing up.
Watch:
Hachi: a dog's tale
Afraid of zombies?
World War Z with Brad Pitt is a must see then.
Having a dog around is like having a toddler around.
Having a cat around is like having a teenager around.
they are also physics defying zombies XD they said fu*k newtons law XD
And 28 Days Later. Some terrifying stuff.
Omg yes plz highly recommend to watch !!!!
loads better@@AZambri1
oh yeah!
As a proud snd loving German shepherd owner, the Sam part just kill’s me every time. German shepherds wouldn’t even give it a moments thought to put themselves in danger to protect their best friend 😢😢😢
It ruïnes thé movie for me ....pity
@@deg6788 Agree, great movie, but I hate it for that scene and spoils the whole thing.
Glad to see you all enjoy this. Hits different after living through Covid. Fun reaction, love your discussions at the end of each film
Living through a bad flu is harder.
Will's most underrated role... the man can act! 🤩😍🥰
_Seven Pounds_ is without doubt Smith's greatest film - he was phenomenal in _Ali_ as well.
I think his best performance ever is The Pursuit of Happyness.
YES HE CAN! if only he recognized that his self worth and got away from Jada. I feel like (and it is none of my business) but he is always trying to prove to her that he is the man for her and better than Tupac. Will is fighting a ghost and any woman that has her kids write letters to a dead man about how she misses him, and disses him like she has over and over, yeah he needs to stop fighting a losing battle.
note: i did not say this was his best performance... i said it is his most underrated...
@@dancarter482facts
Saw that film in theaters twice. One of my favorites of Will’s. The zombies are terrifying. The movie also kind of predicted the future with that Batman Vs Superman marquee in the background. Y’all have to see Will’s first big film “Six Degrees Of Separation “. He’s still doing Fresh Prince at this point and he brilliantly plays a real life guy who scammed a rich white couple telling them he was the son of Sidney Poitier ..
They aren't zombies though.....they are basically vampires.
Those zombies frightened the crap out of me!
They're vampires.
The original version of ‘The Thing’ with Kurt Russel (‘Overboard’) is a great one to watch for this time of year.
Jay throwing shade at Will's musical abilities 🤣🤣🤣
🎃Halloween Wish List -The Crow 1994 -Rosemary's Baby 1968 -Carrie 1976 -An American Werewolf in London 1981 -The People Under the Stairs 1991 -Interview with the Vampire 1994 -Let Me In 2010 -Thanks!!!
Great wish list. I loved both Let Me In and the original Let the Right One In. Just out of curiosity, have you seen the original?
*Let the Right One In
Pulse/Kairo
Prince Of Darkness
World war Z is another good one
Great List, probably THE BEST werewolf and vampire films among them
My friend Lara works doing costumes for movies and tv. She worked on this movie and was in charge of the zombies.
My friend John was in charge of costume for this movie. Liar.
@@thewind6047 yeah, I’m not going to fight you over something I know is true. She was a few days late for our scuba festival because she had to work on the finishing touches for the zombies. How dare you call me a liar, @thewind6047
That is awesome she did an amazing job!
The CGI zombies are terrible though...
@@robsquadmoviereactions I know you guys haven't reacted to any episode type series but one that would be really interesting to see Amber react to would be "The Last of Us"! It was a game back in 2013 and 2014, Jordan I don't know if you're familiar with it or not, but they made a series out of it and it was really done well. Also the premise for the "infected" as they call them on this show (they are not called zombies they are called infected) is more believable than most zombie stories!!! It's an infection of fungi.
Anyway if Amber feels brave maybe you guys could watch it!!
Love this movie. Another really great apocalyptic type movie is The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington. It’s so good!
It was fucking horrible. Read the book. It wasn't a generic happy action hero ending like the movie.
The whole point of the story was that Neville learns that they have their own world and society filled with culture and laws. They see him as the boogeyman, coming out when they are sleeping and killing them one by one.
He, the last man, realizes that he will forever be a part of this societies history and culture.
He will be the monster that is told to their young.
The last thing he says is "I am Legend".
THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF THE STORY. FUCK THIS MOVIE SO FUCKING MUCH FOR GETTING RID OF IT.
Was going to suggest this one. Excellent movie.
Probably not for October but Will Smith is absolutely amazing in Pursuit of Happyness and Seven Pounds.
Those two are freaking awesome.
Hancock is decent and of course Men In Black 1-3. Edit: iRobot too!
The Original Men in Black and I, Robot are 2 of my very favorite Will Smith movies along with this one.
Enemy of the State is good too
Y’all are forgetting Independence Day
ohh those movies make me bawl! Will's acting is just superb. The Pursuit of Happiness is such a great film and I feel like it is really overlooked. Will's son Jayden was in it with him and he did a great job right along side his dad.
@@staceynicole8978 not completely, he got nominated for an Oscar for it. But yeah, it’s pretty forgotten these days
My daughter has a fear of birds too. She and a friend didn’t listen to us moms about bringing food to the beach and the girls got attacked by a hoard of seagulls that chased them all the way back into the hotel. Lol. That was 20 years ago.
Guess they won't be watching Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.
I do believe they're supposed to be more like Vampires than Zombies. But it's a phenomenal movie and still freaks me out because the creatures learn and adapt. It's definitely a heavy movie though. And Abbey the dog actress does a great job playing Sam in the movie.
Yeah, I don't see how anyone would see them and think "zombies"......sunlight hurts them, blood attracts them, if you get bitten you turn into one, they have enhanced strength and speed.
In the book, they were vampires and the virus evolved and they became the dominant intelligent species at the end and the last man had finally become a legend,
@johnw8578 Yes, I read the book. The vampires spoke. Takes place in 1975 Los Angeles. Story originally written in the 1950's. Richard Matheson was a genius.
3rd remake of Richard Matheson's book. Vincent Price in "The Last Man on Earth". Charleton Heston in "The Omega Man".
They were vampire like. They did evolve more intelligents and later could handle the sun
Amber, I'm with you. It does feel eerie after experiencing our own pandemic. I saw this movie when it came out in theaters in 2007 and never dreamed that someday I would see a worldwide virus. You need to see the earlier version "The Omega Man" 1971 with Charleston Heston. The "infected" in that version are still humans but a dangerous mob who follow an infected cult leader named Mathias. He has convinced them they are now "enlightened" and the future of the world even though they are all dying. Very good film mostly because of Charleton Heston.
The part in the movie where the virus has spread and New York is cut off and people are begging to be let go into a clean area. That part got me because something like that could easily happen in New York. When the bridge blew up I was like yeah WOW! Talk about seeing something that could very much be a reality one day. And seeing New York dead quiet was uncomfortable.
As a curious fact: the singer Mike Patton (Vocalist of the bands Faith No More, Fantomas, Tomahawks, Mr. Bungle, Mondo Kane, among several more) is the one who makes the sounds that the monsters make.
Didn’t know that. Cool!
Great zombie movie...I'll always have a tear when he had to kill his loyal dog it's so so sad 😢
Will Smith has 4 grammys for his rap music.
And he is also the Slap Fight champion of Hollywood.
...and was the first rapper EVER to win a Grammy, don't forget. He also has hits on top of hits from way back when it was DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince in the 1980s, to his solo music he did in the late 90s.
hits on top of hits?? lol @@EpicHelios83
@@EpicHelios83that's right, Summertime is my favorite.
Yas speak on it
A really good zombie movie is "28 Days Later" British made. Very well done. And a side note. The little girl in this movie is his real life daughter Willow.
Will Smith as part of Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff was an early rap duo. They had hits in the mid to late 80's. Parents Just Don't Understand, Summertime then he started acting in movies with Six Degrees of Separation. The Men in Black and Wild, Wild West and he had hits from doing those soundtracks.
6 degrees of separation is a fantastic movie!
He was the FIRST rapper to win a grammy
I’m not emotionally prepared for this, so I’ll give the like, make a comment, and exit.
Based on the 1971 movie "Omega Man" with Charlton Heston. Check it out if you ever get the time.
Will Smith was a successful rapper and recording artist with multiple hits, both as “Will Smith” and as “The Fresh Prince”.
My son lives in midtown Manhattan. When I visited him in July he showed me many of the filming sites for this movie including the Aircraft Carrier where Will Smith hit golf balls into a parking lot in Hudson Yards, just three blocks from where my son lives in Hells Kitchen. Very Cool!
The warm and fuzzy feeling I have watching rob squad reactions is insane. Love these videos!
The scene where Will slaps the zombie in the face for making jokes about his dog is when i thought, I have seen this before.
Fun fact that spills into your Music Reaction channel. The monsters were voiced by none other than Mike Patton, legendary vocalist of Faith No More.
Fun fact the little girl is Will Smith daughter Willow!!
This movie is going to freak you out, and make you cry too. ♥️
The bit after he loses Sam is so heartbreaking. He'd lost the last thing that kept him sane. When he went out at night, what you're seeing is a broken man who no longer cares what happens. It's so sad. Also, "I was saving that bacon for someone" - he was saving it for Sam and that broke me again
I noticed that a butterfly was hovering near the dog when Will was picking corn. LOVE IT!
Since it’s October and getting closer to Halloween.. I’m psyched that you all will be reacting to horror movies. You should really consider watching The Exorcist (1973) version. This is probably by far the scariest movie that was ever made at that time. People in the theaters were passing out and believed that the actual celluloid had evil in it. I don’t want to give away anything, but it is definitely something you should view once in your lifetime.
When I was 5 years old, in 1978, The Exorcist played on broadcast TV for the first time. It just happened to be the night my parents went out and left us with a babysitter. I think you know where this is going. The babysitter let me and my 7 year old brother watch it, and it scared the living hell out of me. I had nightmares for months afterwards 🤣🤣
They did it last year.
@@andymageen5308No, they never did the Exorcist, that was Asia and BJ.
Definitely need to do it. Iconic!
@@ramfatShe never should've let you watch it. Too young
Love it, but if you guys could please turn up the volume on the movie clips a bit that would help to follow along.
Sometimes there’s quite a difference between some of the clips volume and your voices, and when you turn up the volume to hear the clips, then suddenly your comments come in booming ha ha (maybe it’s just me)
Anyway, love you guys and love your channels!

Aliso, when the lab glass breaks at the end, it forms a butterfly.
will Smith was arguably the most famous rapper in the world around 1986/87...its how he got the show cuz Quincy Jones wanted him...the song parents don't understand, brand new funk, his Halloween song nitemare on my street, u saw my bumper, summertime....and Jaz from the show fresh prince of bel aire was his dj DJ JAZZY JEFF, one of the greatest dj's in hip hop history, he created the transformer scratch
Yeah his ignorant rude comment pissed me off. Bro is so u cultured and constantly talks about how he doesn’t know much because he was narrow minded in sports and then says stupid disrespectful stuff like that without confirming anything and it’s just his opinion and lack of education
@GooseVF-0918 I wouldn't say all that, that's extreme🤣 he is just young so he doesn't know...will was that dude in like 85-89 as far as hip hop cuz he went commercial in the 90s...he wasn't even born then, so I don't expect him to know🤣...u have to remember, most folks don't study hip hop they way they do a lot of other genres of music....thats why they react to older music so they can LEARN the history, we can't drag them for not knowing...we supposed to enlighten and teach them
The lions would have come from the Central Park Zoo which is only a mile away from where he's standing.
Put “Se7en” on your October watch list
Was rather disappointed with Se7en. I thought Copycat was a better thriller than Se7en
Fun Fact (if not already mentioned), the voices of the zombies were provided by the multi-talented singer 'Mike Patton' of the band 'Faith No More'. I know Jay loved that song "Epic" 👍 so..just wanted to share this with you both 😊
Usually I don't get emotional watching movies, but when I first saw this movie and saw the scene where he had to kill his dog, that got to me. Not only is that dog his only companion, the one thing that is keeping him sane, but its the last reminder of his family because his daughter gave him the dog. If I had to put down my pet like that, that would break me. It broke him to which is why he went on that suicidal night drive. He was going to take as many of them out before they got to him. The alternate ending is better as others have pointed out and is the preferred version that I rewatch.
You'll love Will in 'Independence Day'!
The story this movie is based on is so amazing.
I saw this movie. It was fascinating but I could not get past those damn monsters. I saw them in my sleep. Poor Sam, I sobbed. She was such an amazing companion.
Glad y'all got to experience this! One of many movies that terrified me as a child 🤣🤣 though it may not be accurate to the book, it's still a well made, beautiful, and scary film. Also Jay, oooh it sounds like y'all need to react to some of Will's songs 🤣 he definitely has more than "one good song" lol. From his Fresh Prince and Dj Jazzy Jeff days in the late 80s to 90s, to his iconic songs hes made for movies hes been in. Songs like Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble, Parents Just Don't Understand, A Nightmare on My Street, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Summertime, Men In Black, Gettin Jiggy Wit It, Wild Wild West, Nod Ya Head, and Just the Two of Us. I'd love to see y'all react to all of those! Lol. Also, would love to see y'all watch Men In Black 1 & 2, and Wild Wild West(which is controversial because of how different it is from the series, but I've loved it since I was a kid and still love it now along with the series lol). Those would be fun movies I think you'd enjoy, along with the other Austin Powers movies and Back to the Future 3 👍👍😄 keep up the fun work!
I believe what happened was he created the trap and forgot about it. He had become delusional with wanting to see another human and freaked out when he thought he did. So, he set a trap in the past (forgot about it) and set it on himself accidentally.
The infected weren't as mindless as he thought. They learned how to set the trap by coping his trap. What also shows that they weren't totally mindless is if you noticed the leader of the infected was the only one trying to break through the glass. It wasn't just to get at Will but because the female infected Will had caught was the leader's mate.
I like to believe that the creatures did it after learning how he did it with one of their own. I think they're smart enough to pull an uno reverse card. But both theories are valid, I think. Must be something up for interpretation.
That's creative but not at all the intention of the movie. The vampires were certainly intelligent. They observed him using the same trapping method on their own people, so they did it right back.
The creatures in this movie seem more like vampires than zombies. The same is true in the book (and old movie) this is based on, "Omega Man". In the old story, the monsters become self-aware and the main character is the murderous bad guy in their eyes. Interesting.
I think Will Smith had a few good songs: Parents Just Don't Understand, Gettin' Jiggy Wit It, Just the Two of Us, Summertime, Miami & Wild Wild West
Yeah, back before he joined the cult and went bonkers.
Rewatching this after 2020 and everything we went through, this was a lot scarier than the first time i watched it. I had also forgot how many jump scares there were in this. This was a great movie when it came out and still is.
Yeah, it came out in 2007. But it took place in 2009 to 2012… when some people thought the world was gonna end
Rob "Well at least he's got the dog".....my face 🫤😑😔
Nice reaction guys... BTW the mutants didn't trap him. He set several of his own traps over time and seeing Fred out of place made him lose his own mind for a sec and react irrationally.
He accidentally stumbled into one of his own traps on the bridge.
That's what I thought also, thanks for writing it out👍
I thought it was pretty obvious the dark seekers set the trap. We never see him set random traps anywhere. Neville only sets traps when he needs to capture a dark seeker.
What are the signs to make it obvious? In the books they may be intelligent enough but in the films, nothing says that they're even capable of doing something like this
@@HD00957 As you said, the book does a better job of showing their intelligence. I would say the evidence the dark seekers set the trap is actually evidenced by Neville's own actions. For starters, he wrongly asserts complete devolution after the dark seeker exposes himself to sunlight. We also never see him set random traps and he is very meticulous about keeping track of buildings he has searched. So where is the evidence that he sets random traps and why isn't he meticulous about keeping track of them? Not to mention he treats the mannequins like humans. Why would he randomly put Fred near a trap? To answer your question more directly, there is evidence of intelligence shown during the attack at the pier and the attack on his house.
@@sundalangur3250 fair. But i think he may not have been less meticulous about the traps but just extremely caught off guard about the mannequin being where it was... Seems like he genuinely lost track of where he was, what the mission was, etc. as if seeing that made him question his entire existence... thus falling into your own trap in a fit of madness
I do think the seekers could've moved the mannequin, but in the movie version that we're discussing, i dont see the walkers setting that trap.
What happens to the dog in the movie is very sad and heartbreaking! Get out the box of tissues.
Originally Ridley Scott was attached to direct the project in 1997, with Arnold Schwarzenegger playing the role of Robert Neville. The special makeup effects were going to be designed by Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff for the mutants known as Darkseekers, but it was cancelled as a lot of Warner Bros films were bombing at the box office. Francis Lawrence, who Directed Constantine, was brought onboard with Will Smith playing Neville.
Watching this movie is one of the reasons so many lost their ever loving minds in 2020. Scary, but just a movie. Just a movie.
I remember this movie, I first saw it on a rented DVD back when Blockbuster was still a thing and movies were more special. Man I miss going to Blockbuster...
Fun Fact: Will Smith has the First Rap/hip hop Grammy. 16 million records sold and three number 1 billboard songs. 🤯.
I Am Legend 2 is "in the works" With Will Smith (SOME HOW) and Micheal B. Jordan.
Glad yall like this one 🎉
At the end of the story, Neville realizes that, as the only human left in a world of vampires, he is now the monster. He stalks the earth during the day and kills the vampires as they sleep. This has made him a mythical figure much like the vampires themselves once were. He is now a legend, hence the title I Am Legend.
"Last Man on Earth" (The original) with Vincent Price and "Omega Man" with Charlton Heston. This movie was based on both of these. Very much worth watching both.
No one has ever questioned Will Smiths acting.. just how he is outside of it.
Oh how I wish you guys would start your Marvel (MCU) journey. I would sooooooo be here for that every week.
Love this movie. It's complex & provokes so much discussion. I love your reaction to it.
Another enjoyable movie with Amber and Jay. My favorite part was when Amber told Jay he watches too many cartoons. This after comparing the lead singer of Survivor to being sung to by a Disney Prince. You guys are so adorable!! Thanks for the movie.
Jay - You have LOST your mind! Will Smith is/was an EXCELLENT rapper. He's one of the main reasons that Rap music is now considered a mainstream genre. He won the first ever Rap Grammy award. He has excellent diction, comes up with great rhymes without having to create words or bastardize pronunciation. He may not be your cup of tea, or the greatest ever, but don't say he wasn't good or that he wasn't impactful to the genre.
Compared to todays he’s great!
I had forgotten how good this movie was. Thanks for the reminder!
Love it!!!! Here's some Halloweeny suggestions: DOCTOR SLEEP (the sequel to The Shining - brilliantly done!) - POLTERGEIST (1982) - ROSEMARY'S BABY - SE7EN - CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND - RETURN TO OZ - THE RING - SIGNS - WORLD WAR Z - FINAL DESTINATION... So excited for the spooky season to get started! Keep smiling y'all!! 🎃😁🎃
Will Smith's best movie is "The Pursuit of Happiness", but if you're up for another zombie movie you must watch Brad Pitt in "World War Z".🍁🍂👻💀🎃
I dont know if you caught this too, but when the glass was breaking from being bashed into by the leader, the cracks in the glass formed a butterfly.
During the height of Vivid when Chicago was mostly locked down, a lot of wild animals like coyotes and deer were roaming the main streets of the downtown area.
Took my daughter and her friend to see this. The friend was horrified. Took her to see “P.S. I Love You” to help her get past this movie.
Great reaction video, folks! I am so glad you loved this version of the movie, but I wish you guys knew more about the original novella and other adaptations because it gets WILD.
This is the happiest version of the story, but the most accurate version would be Vincent Price (legend of old school 50s and 60s horror) adaptation “The Last Man on Earth.”
It’s honestly the closest to the novel and it totally works to this day. Fair warning though, the real meaning behind the Book and (this movie’s) title “I Am Legend” is far more sinister in an ironic way.
I don’t want to spoil it because you should really watch Price’s adaptation but let’s just say not all Legends are good.
That’s it. No spoilers I swear.
I’ve never liked “zombie” shows or movies, but I’ve always loved this one! It’s the story behind the action that drew me in. Now it’s one of my go to favorites!
At the beginning, the news he was watching, was recorded from before.
I prefer both precursors to this but they're all the same story tweaked for the times. THE LAST MAN ON EARTH used to scare the crap out of me but nowadays I wouldn't mind being alone here. I adore Vincent Price tho. THE OMEGA MAN is the perfect combo of 70s cheese and Hollywood icon. Charleton Heston is actually dressed like your boy Austin Powers back when it was fashionable.
In the early days of Covid I figured they might use this cure and they did in the beginning. People who'd come out of it okay donated their blood for that purpose.
I saw this when it came out! I heard that they're doing a chapter two. I hope you guys like it!
That “scan her again” scene always bothered me. Either he just allowed an infected person to get out of the quarantine area or their scanners don’t work properly, in which case they have quarantined uninflected people and let them out.
Also the trap that Will Smith was caught in is the same trap he set for the “night walker”.
does it bother you because you think its an error in the movie? or that its just unfortunate that medical equipment can be inaccurate?
One thing a lot of people don't pick up on is if the scanner didn't work correctly for his wife then how many uninfected people were turned away and even worse how many infected people did they let through.
Even worse, what if the scanner used on Robert's wife was correct the first time.
A true story thriller for you guys this month, or anytime, Is “The Ghost and the Darkness” starring Val Kilmer (Doc Holliday - Tombstone) its a great movie! Man eating lions, perfect for your favorite Holliday coming up!
I think you guys are ready for some David Lynch movies. Try Blue Velvet or Mulholland Drive.
Mike Patton of Faith No More did the voices/noises of the creatures in this film.
This is such a great movie; it breaks my heart when a dog dies in a film.
I hate when Sam dies, but this was a good movie. Will Smith did a good job. His family dying was awful too.
Yes, this was the best Will Smith movie
There were a lot of virus related movies in the 90s to visualize when 2020 happened too. I think you guys would like 12 Monkeys. A bit more scifi concept but still a trying to figure out what caused it. It's actually one of my favorite Brad Pitt movies.
I love that movie, every time I watch it I see something I didn't notice before and watching it at different times in my life it hits differently and I've seen it many times.
Incase no one has said it, its called I Am Legend because in the book he had killed a lot of them during the day while they sleep so in their community he is known as a legend who kills them.
The infected that you guys referred to as the leader has a personal vendetta against Will's character. That female infected that he captured early in the movie, that was his girlfriend.
22:35 this moment shows how messed up the screening system is. How many infected did they let go because it turned green and how many got rejected because it erroneously turns red?
My mom loves this movie. She also loved Singing In The Rain, State Fair, and Seven Brides For Seven Brothers,,(one of the perks of having older parents)There's a good chance that Jordan would give it a four out of ten lol. I think you would like them a lot Amber. Also Cry Baby and Hairspray. They were directed by the same guy John Waters
Not sure if I've seen state fair it love all the others.if they do hairspray they have to do the original first.i like serial mom also a John waters film.
@@sarablack2547 I agree they should watch the original one first. Serial Mom is also a great movie. I can't believe I forgot to put it on the list. "He killed people Mom" "We all have our bad days"🤔😂
@@sarahj6271 pussy willow 😆
Two things, 1- whenever Will has a movie where he has a kid, he always includes his own children, in every movie he has a child he involves willow or jaden. 2- when he threw the plate on the floor and said he was saving the bacon, he was saving it for Sam
"Keep your vampire fangs out my damn dog!" - Robert Neville probably.
I definitely think this is one of Smith's most underrated performances. I'm not the biggest fan of the ending though.
Amber sweetie you have to keep watching the walking dead! It's a great story about people who come together as strangers and become family! I love the series!
There's an older tv show called "After People," about what would happen if all humans vanished one day. It's always reminded me of this movie and how they made the city look.
Lmaooo 28:11 "That's a long way to be scootin'" idk why but that had me dead! 😂😂
Great movie! Loved how Amber kept saying this horror movie was horrifying her. Lol :) Really enjoyed y'alls reaction to this one! I hope Jay will be okay when he sees The Birds! It's hard to watch scary movies when they're about your own personal fears. Amber was a trooper for getting through this zombie movie!
This was not a great movie.
Great reaction! You guys should watch John Carpenter’s The Thing for Halloween. It’s so much fun.
3:34 There was a series called Life After People that explored that concept. It was based on the book The World Without Us. The concept is basically what would happen if humans suddenly vanished from the world. What would happen to the cities and structures left behind? What effect would humanities creations have on nature as it reclaimed the world? What would happen to different animal species, both wild and domesticated? It was really interesting, and frankly, humbling.
