Oh this is going to be fun to watch. Christopher Walken is one of my favorites. There's a show called The Big Bang Theory and there's an episode where the cast is playing D&D. Well the DM mimics C. Walken's voice. It's in my top five moments from that show.
Here's the thing (and this is my opinion)...working late and providing for the family and wanting to step up the ladder didn't equal to neglecting the kids. I'm not speaking for everyone but my own dad worked a lot while I was growing up but so did my mom. I never counted it as negligence because it's a heavy word. They showed me they loved me through other ways - with the way they treated me or interacted with me, with the small talk or the quality time (even if that was an hour or so). They were phenomenal people and maybe I was a kid that didn't care much to have them if it meant they were working hard to afford a roof over our heads or yummy food. Again, my opinion but I'm tired of people seeing a parent work hard (granted, missing a few milestones in the process) and assume it's the worst thing that can happen to a kid. Not every kid suffers because of it. I'm sorry for my rant!
Theres many movies in this vein. Watch Bill Murray in scrooged and Groundhog Day. But go back to the vety first. Its a wonderful life in 1947. Jimmy Stewart was the star, he had horrendous PTSD from ww2, and he said this movie saved his life.
Kevin O doyle in this movie grows up to be Jerome Valeska I wont tell you who he becomes so you can be surprise but in the Batman prequel Gotham its on Tubi and Max !!!!! since I'm suggesting series a must watch is The Handmaids tale on Hulu trust me its one of the best things you can watch on its on but also about about current state of events dealing with Roe vs wade
