I got the ELX200 18SP last week and adore it. My first EV speaker making the move from Alto Professional (which has done me well) I’m trying to make the move from 15” Mains to 12” Mains so the ELX200 12P is the Set I’m looking for.
I like the 3 Handle Design and Retaining screw on the pole which is what I prefer as a DJ over the 1 Handle design of the EKX models. The ZLX12BT aren’t going to have the SPL I’m seeking especially coming from 132db 15’s
Would you recommend a set of elx 200 12sp+ 10p or with a 12p? Portability wise it’s obvious but is the loudness difference significant or will the 10p would be adequate for open space performance. Thanks in advance
i am between this speaker and elx12p ...love your review ..you say they get loud and thats great but do the clip limit light comes out early like tbe zlx series
Not at all, I use these speakers. They get loud, I tried singing forcefully into it with 2 other guys and it didn't clip

Just getting into mobile dj''ing... (just outside of Morgantown). I have been looking at 2 qsc k12.2 and 2 ks118.... but I Can get 3 of these and 2 EV 18" subs for less.... i like having an extra to for backup or cocktail/ceremony if needed. Would two of these paired with subs br able to play in a school gym? 200 people wedding reception?
