Next time make sure to visit the KU Natural History Museum filled with hundreds of animal species and dinosaur bones, as well as the Spencer Museum of Art which is directly behind it!
When you come to Lawrence you MUST, MUST, MUST see our streets blocked off for road work! Wait. What am I saying?! That will be the first thing you see!
My family has lived in lawrence for over forty years. When I go to lawrence's visit One of my favorite places to eat is the burger stand. It's located downtown, and they have very unique And tasty burgers. If you are interested in Lawrence history, you should check out the Watkins museum.
My hubby and his family are from Overbrook. We've been to KU to see their museum. Our favorite store is near Walmart, called the International Store...I think. We plan to see more this coming 4th of July week.
How random! I live about 45 minute from Lawrence and love visiting as like a Saturday day trip. The river walk trail is amazing (I like to hike in the woods), the burger stand casbah is a MUST for fries and veggie burgers, and we go to Merchants for a more classic nice environment. Also 1800 barker street for pastries and alchemy coffee
If you ever decide to come back to lawrence I HIGHLY recommend you try out burger stand. They have amazing burgers and wonderful dipping sauces you can try out
I actually live in Lawrence Kansas and I very much suggest you go to the busker fest which is yearly (I think) where there’s tons of street performers the whole weekend and it’s really cool also with food you should really try eating at free state they’re known for their beer! Also you should try sylas and Maddie’s ice cream and my personal favorite is their birthday cake!
It was an absolute pleasure getting to hang with you on your visit, Christine. Let us know when you come by again and we will make sure The Boardroom isn't already booked. Cheers. 🍻
We are staying at the springhill suites there is a lot of water damage by the window and the first floor smells we had to switch to the second floor. Did you notice any of that? beside that Lawrence Kansas is beautiful, if you like my comment please don't forget to hit the like button and subscribe.
