    Did you know that it was a series made in Japan thought it was commissioned by German TV (ZDF and ORF), just like 'Wickie' and 'Heidi'.

      That's a lie. ZDF and ORF are simply dubbed versions of the Japanese version. They didn't make a request. It was produced by a Japanese TV station and an anime production company on their own initiative. In Japan at the time, there was a huge boom in anime adaptations of classics and masterpieces from around the world.

      @@deelak-ss9262 It's not totally wrong. It's a co-production with ZDF (Germany) and ORF (Austria). Although I'd be curious about the details.

      @@AlexDiesTrying No, ZDF and ORF have not been successfully produced. 100% produced by a Japanese anime production company and TV station.

    The series is surprisingly better than what I expected it to be after i revisited it so many years later . If you saw it as a kid and you want to feel like revisiting your childhood i recommend giving it a watch. (Btw my favourite is the greek version because nostalgia.

    My fav version of Pinocchio ever, love to see multilanguage of this song.
    P.S. Grew up with Polish version, but I have a soft spot for French one, too.

    The Persian instrumental version was the one that the Iranian national TV actually used, after the 1979 revolution. When the Islamic Republic took over, women's voice was banned.

    I remember watching this as a kid in South Africa, late 80's, early 90's. It was in Afrikaans. It always made me sad for some reason.

    I watched this on Finnish television as a kid and never heard the Finnish version 😨😱. I thought this show never had one. The version I remember is the German one.

      Also you can put in the description that the final Persian opening uses the Japanese ending instrumental.

      I think its probably because the Arabic chose to dub the other Pinochio anime instead, so that's why this one wasn't dubbed

      OP Multilanguage Yeah, the other Pinocchio anime seems to be much more famous than this one. But I like the simplicity of the opening of this version better.

      We can say that it is a partially found dub since we have the opening and there was a more HD version of it but it was deleted from RUclips

    The German and Spanish are the best! The Japanese is sooooooooooooo good too.
    P.D. I detected a little error on the description. The Portuguese voiceover version is the German song,not the Japanese one. The Portuguese singed version I think is based on Spanish lyrics.

    on Persian: the second and third one are from public TV broadcast, third is older than second. forth was public TV when there was Islamic mourning. never saw the first one before but I think its for home video releases. also in Persian version, the fox and cat were both males.

    So, so unfortunate that the Canadian French version of the song is in such bad quality. Is there a higher quality version? The native French one is cool too, but just not the same. I like how the Canadian one used a remix of the original background music

      Most of the 70's anime don't have English version. American and British people don't know Heidi,Marco,etc.

      @@pepitomajete5494 no estoy 100% seguro, por lo que he leído en varios comentarios se transmitió en mexico en el canal 5 por los 90 o 2000, dicen que usaban el intro en francés y hasta mencionan uno en inglés... cual es el original del tal memo que mencionas?

      @@blunotv No sé si existe eso,fue una pregunta por que he leído que en los 70 y 80 en Latinoamérica un tal Memo Aguirre que lo conocen como el capitán Memo componía muchos openings (eso sólo lo sé de haberlo leído en internet porque me gusta informarme sobre otros países,pero yo del tema no tengo ni idea,si soy de España,soy tu onda vital XD).
      No existe versión inglesa al menos en RUclips. Es posible que os llegase el francés. En España usamos de base el francés,que a la vez está basado en el alemán por que el compositor es alemán.
