The Harmony Gold reminds me of a 80s cop song. Like Mokku is going to arrest someone with a jazz sound track in the background.
Funny how the Italian dub, which included the Japanese parts banned by Saban, has one of the most light-hearted intros here.
the Japanese opening is very whimsical and light hearted too, I guess it's intentional XD

The Harmony God dub was my childhood, since 1991, when I was 2 years old at the time. I loved hearing Mona Marshall and Jan Rabson.
I don't really like either English versions honestly, the Japanese and Italian were better suited IMO

There were 2 Pinocchio aired in japan. Nippon and Tatsunoko (showed here).
Tatsunoko is my personal favorite, I like it even more than the disney version. :)

What's the difference between this Pinocchio to the Pinocchio no bouken one by Nippon animation ? I don't mean animation wise
Nippon pinocchio's plot is closer to the original book.
Tatsunoko pinocchio is a lot different from the book and way more darker

I'll never understand, why in Poland they dubbed show itself, but kept song in English. Some of the anime/cartoons broadcasted by Fox Kids in late 90s suffered this fate while others had their songs translated. Someone was just lazy?
Btw. English song from Harmony Gold dub is far better than Saban's one, shame it wasn't more popular. And I had no idea HG version was available in Poland, I guess it was some home video release, less popular than TV broadcast.
Romanian fellow here! I can confirm this happened here with the intro as well. No translation of it, just the episodes themselves dubbed.
And I think we only had the Saban intro there, no Harmony Gold.
One of two things probably happened: Laziness, or lack of budget.

The original title is "KASHINOKI MOKKU", not "Adventures of Pinocchio".

Falta la mejor entrada con la canción: Crece caqui crece.
Ese intro latino no es el original, es de los 90 el original de mediados de los 80 era una música y letra muy distinta, la musica era la japonesa pero con una letra en español muy distinta a esa versión noventera, no me gusto esa canción latina no es la de mi época....

Yo lamentablemente acá en Perú solo me vi esa versión gringa mas la película que tiene el tema hecho por Harmony Gold.
Nossa eu achei a versão brasileira bem ruim kkkk pra mim as melhores são a versões em inglês, japonês e italiano.

En los 70's esta serie fue transmitida (la version directamente traducida del japonés) pero en los 90's trajeron la versión gringa

@@victoreglopes this anime in Brazil have a LOT of dubs, i have a DVD with a different dub of the 2 versions of the video, the first dub, from 1978, is lost, and i guess was a VHS dub and a dub from a exclusive movie version from Brazil in 2001
Exisist a fox kids dub too (i guess is lost), and a dub with the voiceover from the italian op
