I see a lot of vents and the device.. does that thing get really hot? And is it safe to leave it in the car on a hot Florida day.. (we’re talking 110 degrees). Also.. i thought it ran on the phones WiFi not through hotspot.
Can you be connected to CarPlay and connected to the hotspot at the same time? All of the ones ive tried you need to manually connect it to wifi after you switch from CarPlay

No. I have that myself and these are completely different in their functionality. They both allow wireless CarPlay, but that’s really the only thing they have in common!
@@carsonmtech I appreciate the follow up! While they both allow WIRELESS Apple CarPlay, which seems to be the better performer? My 2020 C8 needed this to go wireless, then GM made the only change for 2021 being WIRELESS Apple CarPlay. Looking for the one on the market.

Can you get the spectrum app to watch tv online or does it only accep certain apps
