How many of you with an aviation history (I had 5 years in the USAF flying the EC-121 Super Constellation back in the 70's) leaned forward to get a better view out of the windscreen? Nice landing, Captain.
Ah yes, back in the day when men were men and women were glad of it. Brian, I read in an Air Force publication about one of those planes making a GCA approach in very bad weather and when they finally stopped on the runway they could not see to taxi any further. so they called for a "follow me Jeep" and a minute later felt a thump. The Jeep ran into the nose tires because he could see very far either. The pilot was so skillful flying instruments that the nose wheels were straddling the centerline. Was that you? BTW, a friend of mine flew F-86, F-100, F-105 and F-111. He was shot down over Thud Ridge and picked up while under ground fire by a Jolly Green. I heard a lot of great stories while I worked on his private plane after he retired.
Awesome video buddy..Hey great news I’m enrolled in flight school…I’ll soon be flying like you my friend…thanks for the making the videos they are a huge inspiration for me to receive my commercial pilot’s license…keep up the good work..maybe we’ll meet in the sky’s someday.
Yo no podría ser piloto jamás... Eso de dirigir un aparato de esas dimensiones, a esa velocidad y con nula visibilidad de hacia donde me dirijo, no es para mí. Mis respetos para estos amigos.
I noticed the speed brake deployment during the approach. Speed management I assume and I noticed how you kept your hand on the lever so as not to forget! Am I correct in my assumption?
Nothing better than watching 2 airline pilots (with really big watches) casually watch their airplane fly (to below minimums) before they actually start flying the airplane. Yes!!!
a stabilizer trim wheel, it's for pitch control....I would re-route you to a flight channel I use but out of respect for this video I won't promote the channel I always watch and use to learn things
Capt. Just a question. I am an airbus guy all my life. Just curious how Boeing works. So after touchdown, you have to manually raised the speedbrake lever? Cause in Airbus, we just armed the spoilers and it will automatically activate once touchdown.
Great video as always Captain. I've seen it often on the 737ng, why do you move the throttle levers back when normally the Auto throttle would retard them? Happy new year 🎉
Because both autothrottle and autopilot were disconnected,so he was manually flying and adjusting the thrust. On the 737ng autothrottle should be coupled with autopilot, therefore when you disable autopilot you should also disable the autothrottle at the same time.
@@Hk-uw8my watch it again, he doesn’t disconnect the autopilot until just before landing, you hear the disconnect alarm, which means he’d de-coupled the throttles and was using manual throttle with autopilot engaged and his hands very lightly resting on the wheel until he took over flying.
@@johnfisher7143 7:23 he disconnected both autopilot and autothrottle at the same time . You can see hands on the controls a way before because unlike a tesla, you are taught to guard them at low altitudes even with the autopilot engaged, because you never know what could happen
@@sizzelot no, aerodynamic braking doesn't work with big jets. Instead you want to put some pressure on the nose wheel in order to increase its effectiveness.
Beautiful! I was sweating while watching the pilots (cool and collected) just doing their thing. Impressive.
Wow, that was one slick landing Captain, smooth as silk. Well done sir.
Always enjoy seeing the cockpit views. Nice work. Cheers!

Great job skipper! I was in USAF SAC in the early 1960's and had minimum instrumentation flying KC97.

Sporty! Loved it - nicely done.
Great landing.
Have a Nice year!

Silky smooth landing! Nice job.
Nice job from autopilot.
@@yexacom no, the landing was manual one.
@digikeskus it was manual???
On the ground cockpits are fascinating, in the air they're terrifying.
Why ?
@@paulwatling5400 because you're one spilled soda away from oblivion? Also the forward view is unnerving.
@@kewlztertc5386 you are right but they must be waterproof or water resistant

Wish you always happy landings! 🛬👨✈️
This pilot is the king of pilots !
Video bagus, seru campur ngeri. Ending salaman ala team-mate, keren.
Great video... Thanks for making and sharing...
Happy new year to captain wuauran and crew, from Portugal
Excellent video’s.
Greeting from the Netherlands.
Perfect touchdown …well done
Cool in cockpit video, showing captain working the column
very nice. thanks for sharing the experience.

Slmt menyongsong tahun baru 2023 Capt💥
Capt youtuber idola, pembawaan santai, tenang tapi penuh perhitungan matang, mantap capt semoga ketemu di penerbanganya capt...
That's awesome guys, just wish there was a camera mounted in the cabin behind the wing to see the control surfaces working
Dang, still rocking the paper charts
Nice Capt, boleh share vlog kit nya apa aja Capt dan aplikasi edit nya
Good work mates! Oz.
Hye.. i have one question. May i know why u release the parking brake when already parking.. why dont just let it brake?? Thanks
Capt Terbaik se Lion Air ini 😂 sehat terus bray 🙏😁
Selamat bertugas Dan selalu jaga keselamatan...Selamat natal Dan tahun baru Capt Daniel..GBU damai dalam suka cita
Fantastic, thanks for sharing.
Very good FO with you on that flight. 👍👍
Great video, and great job!!
They make it look so easy and routine.
What is the grey lever next to the throttles?
Well done. Good insight into Indonesian flying.
Smooth Landing Considering!
Selamat Tahun Baru 2023 capt beserta keluarga. sukses dan sehat selalu.Tuhan Memberkati.🙏😇
Capt...Happy New Year 2023..GBU
Great landing Captain!! 👍
Haadiiiir menontn semangat ya Capt..
Salam sehat sllu 🙏
The level of automation on these planes is unbelievable.
That's nothing. The Space Shuttle reenters the Earth's atmosphere from space on autopilot.
Super great Crew!!!🎉
Happy landing capt, sehat selalu and safety flight. Awal tahun cuaca susah diprediksi ✌️
excelente tocada inciedible.✈️☝🏻👍🏽✨
super Sekali Landing nya CAPT!
Is speed checks a part of the call outs?
Mantap capt👍 semangat terus capt🔥, cuaca memang jelek belakangan ini.
Could you guys in the cockpit feel the horrible turbulunce crosswind shaking like in the cabin in that kind of weather landing?
Cakep Om. Take care out there....
Hebatt Capt.. Soft landing in bad weather condition..👍👍
Great landing!!!!
Cuaca lagi buruk Capt, Hati”. 👍🏻
Happy new year tuama

Hey its in Auto pilot does it mean it steers itself????
Love your channel, Capt. Happy landings!

Where was this landing?
Sehat selalu Captain DW...
Nice video captain...
Круто! А вообще я не парюсь и в таких условиях сажусь в autoland . Три пилота лучше чем два
Ну а какие условия, ветер 3 узла боковой.😉

Nice landing!

Great video! Question: Why did you leave the right fuel pump on during and after shutdown?
Sehat selalu capt
I have a question captain. How could you record your call out and ATC’s instructions so clearly?? And communications between you and F.O??
Nothing better than watching 2 airline pilots (with really big watches) casually watch their airplane fly (to below minimums) before they actually start flying the airplane. Yes!!!
Eh, autopilot was turned off just as the runway became visual at a tad below 700 feet, minimums was 220 or there about.
Good job. Those air wipers are annoying
It must feel great to have so much power on tap to ease on down.
what is making that spinning noise .. wheel by his right leg? what is that?

That was scary. The ATC's India accent was as bad a India tech support call center.
