Make a mini game in a big maze similar to your slasher one, and you and your teammates have to go around getting rid of the creaking infestation. You have to kill all 50 (or so) creakings, but it’s tricky because their hearts will often be on the other side of walls so you have to navigate to find them. And the hearts are hidden below a bunch of random rubble so you actually have to find the creakings first (Even spookier with pumpkin heads required on all players)
On the problem with the ice, I'm pretty sure the different Ice types have different "slipperiness" so you could put ice with low "slipperiness" below the obsidian so that it doesn't get stuck, but also doesn't give it too much additional momentum
In my singleplayer Minecraft world, I made a contraption that by clicking a boat in my base, it uses a bunch of redstone, pistons pushing slime blocks, and ice to complexly and specifically sync different nether portals together to make it so that I travel 2000 overworld blocks to the end in a mere 6 or 7 seconds. It was soooo annoying to get the boat physics and nether portals to work. I agree with you so much and I hope Mojang does something about this too!!!
Solution: You could just use the same plugin at 11:27 and make the boat invisible now you only can see the hitbox thanks to the plugin and it would be easier to hit you could even change the ligthing rod to something else like a stone slab to make it look more like a hockey disk

Another RUclipsr was actually able to do that, if you look up Rendog. He called it Scuteball. It seems to work surprisingly well, minus a few things like needing to keep re-healing the armadillo if it ever comes out of its shell.

Try using a creaking as a puck - they cant be ridden and they are invincible so assuming the charge or sticks can hit them it should work better. Creative mode or disabled AI required. It also might suck and not move well, in which case more charges and stronger knockback.

So…Gerge, if it is truly the hit box of the boat, why not come to a simple conclusion. Just command the boat to become invisible (I don’t care how or why) and then make the hitbox visible with an item like, let’s say a black leather helmet to then settle with the hockey them, and then just aim at the hit box. Wouldn’t that just like, work?
Because the issue has to do with time being tracked separately for moving entities between the server and the client. It’s drawn where the client calculated it, but hotbox collisions are calculated using where the server has calculated it. The boat race server he showed has a mod to help with that, and I would bet that mod receives the location of the lightening rod from the server. Even with a mod, they didn’t just fix the boats, which indicates the difficulty there.
I understand your theory (I’m kidding I have little to no idea what the help you just said), but if it is the server that calculates the hitbox, then why does it matter what the client does?
