The manual shows only how to remove the first glass, but there are three of them and of course the dirt goes in the "secret" compartment. Thank you so much for the help, it really made my day.
You just need to lever open the metal trim just enough so the outer glass can be removed to clean. Then put outer glass back in place and push the metal trim back down to lock glass into the metal trim that you can see at top and bottom of outer glass. Very complicated, but, definitely can be done 👍🏻
Hello, I there one more glass behind the front panel in case of pyrolytic oven? I had some fun assembling the door, and it doesn;t feel the same unfortunately.
The video was cut exactly at the part of the removal of the inner glass that is held with metal clips. Do you have to bend the metal to get the glass out?
Thanks for the video. My mother in law has a Siemens oven, double Glass and it is leaking. Not taken it apart yet but if there is no Seal what could be the cause?
It could need a new seal, or someone may have stretched the door hinges so the door doesn't close tight enough. With the door closed press the top of it and see if it goes in. If it does then there is play in the door and it isn't closing properly. Solution to this is to replace the hinges on the door.
2.52 you ease the frame off and the inner glass will fall off. Read step three on this page: www.ovengleamers.com/knowledge-base/how-to-strip-down-a-siemens-oven-door/
Sorry missed this comment. You should just be able to move the rockers and the then the door lifts off. Sometimes the rockers maybe greased up. Using something to clean and clear them such as WE40.
Some models have an extra piece of glass. When you start stripping the door down you will see that extra pane of glass and it is fixed in place with stainless steel clips. You just ease off the clips to get the glass off. I guess you forgot to put this glass back on.

Is it necessary to partially dismantle the door before removing it from the oven?

This video wasn't for you then. This is for a full professional strip down of the door to enable the deep clean of the glass.
