I never listen to reactor covers. I saw this pop up today and thought okay, fine. I’m expecting a call and if I have to answer during this I won’t care. I’m very glad that call did not interrupt because this is genuinely so good. Thank you for keeping the vocal melodies as similar as possible and also for not going crazy on the musical production. What an honor to Bangtan and their music to do it this way. Hearing the lyrics about growing a flower in a dream that can’t come true in English with your delivery hit me hard. Seriously, so well done. Looking forward to more.

This is really beautiful, I think BTS would really love it. They have watched covers before, and I hope they see this one. I’ve never heard anyone even attempt to correctly translate to an English version before, I know it really takes talent as a writer to do that. OMG, how did I not know about this, for lack of a better word, crossover?!? I was a big fan of Plus One as a young teen, attending every concert from the one with Jaci Velasquez, the first headliner with Stacie Orrico and Rachael Lampa, went to the Obvious listening party, the tour with ZoeGirl and numerous fairs and even the small Macy’s appearance. Went when it was just you, Nate, and Gabe. Wow, that was just a trip down memory lane. But now as an Army this just completely made my day! Love that you are covering them and reacting to them!
Just one more note to say that I shared this with a musician friend, also devoted ARMY, and he remarked ¨Wow, for a few minutes I forgot that BTS ever recorded this song.¨ lol We don´t forget, but it´s exciting when our creativity is ignited somehow. Again, congrats, this was awesome.

I always thought you were talented but it's great to see you in action covering a BTS song I love. I hope you consider doing The Truth Untold. PS. I also really loved listening to how you tackled the rapping parts. Especially, since you've mentioned that you were interested in giving it a try. I’m not sure whether it would be possible but it might be interesting to cover/experiment with ’Louder than bombs’. The song is quite challenging though, BTS have never performed it live.

I am an older army who enjoyed Plus One's era as well. I've enjoyed your reactions and analysis of our boys as I've followed your journey into the BTS rabbit hole. You're able to appreciate their dedication from a unique perspective. I agree with many other commenters here that your voice is well suited for this, and your arrangement of the song brings both nostalgia and pride to this Army's heart. If you ever decide to appear on Masked Singer on a boy band night or something, this would be an amazing cover to debut to a national audience! 💜

Many of “perceived love songs” are written ambiguous enough so that it’s applicable not just between lovers, but other types of relationships (familial or friendship). An argument can even be made that Fake Love may be about BTS’ struggle with fame and the fake love experienced to or from their fans. After all, they are putting on a persona doll like image to make us fans happy.
I hope you continue to do BTS covers and be moved as many of us are by their lyrics.

I enjoyed this immensely. Great cover! I can't speak to the translation from Korean since my Korean is rudimentary at best but this makes the song sound like it was written in English (vs being translated). Just lovely!

Really great cover. It reminded me in some parts of the cover Ysabelle Cuevas did a few years back. She was so young then, your version adds layers of knowing heartbreak and experiencing fake love that is the core of the song. Well done.

Wow! Your voice and interpretation of Fake Love (the ENG translation is excellent) is my favorite cover of a BTS song I’ve ever heard. Actually it’s my first cover I’ve ever heard of any BTS song-it is the BOMB❣️I’ve listened to it over and over again. It helps that you’re a really good singer. I’ve loved this song from the moment I heard it, but being American (San Francisco), I could never totally understand the ENG translation from the Korean, yet I knew the words were beautiful, and the melody too. Again, great job on this song.
