Is it the best for stem separation? Maybe for modern pop music... which already has a lot of separation to begin with. The "Vocals" track is always great, but this is something that the other top tools can do without problem as well. Feed it a dense rock song from the 80's and you end up with 4 extra instruments that didn't exist to begin with...

I downloaded this program to try and learn a guitar lead from a Molly Hatchet song from 1978 by isolating the one guitar part from all the rest of the song. The drums, bass , vocal, etc disappeared but all the guitar, including the rhythm guitar was lumped together. I don't think it would be possible to separate them when their sound is so close to each other but I don't know much about that, I tried to go through and manually delete the rhythm guitar part but couldn't always tell what part was what. I don't know much about computer stuff and may be doing something wrong cause I just play guitar mostly and not do computers. I was still able to learn the part I wanted because even only having all the guitar parts, without the bass, vocals and drums I could hear better what I was trying to learn.
For someone like me who learned guitar in the 1970's by moving the needle to different places on record albums over and over I think this program is great. I will buy the basic version of this to do what I need to do and will keep looking for tutorials to get better at doing it.

@@JimRPickens That's a great point. I remember from about that same time 70's/80's time period you could find hardware "vocal removers" in the back of magazines. But the difference between modern stem separation software and those simple devices (that would only work if the vocals were recorded panned dead-center) is light years! I agree that there is definitely usefulness to these applications.

@@JimRPickensI think there’s a point where you can’t separate cleanly any further. I believe to get closer what will happen is a new technology which will reconstruct the sound with Ai. So it will be more like using the original sound and separation as the basis for the AI to know what to generate, and then it will entirely generate a whole new audio that sounds like the original but with perfect fidelity in all frequencies

lhow do I turn down the Fing metronome when I am recording vocals. It's recording the f-ing metronome too. Going insane. There is no Mic icon or anything in the manual that applies to my screen for deep remix and deep create.

Metronome appears in the Layers panel during recording and you can adjust the level as you would other layers

    😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Bro Bad terms of use ? ( RipX )
    what's up with this ?
If I record an original song in this DAW I can't release the song recorded with this DAW (hitnmix) according to this term of use.
    whats up with this ?
All copyright, trademarks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) in and on HIT’N’MIX and all content (including all applications) located on the site shall remain vested in Hit’n’Mix Ltd or its licensors (which includes other users). Not sure how that can be enforced ? They can embed a code and you're done. so making a hit with this DAW can be a problem. They can take you to court and you’re done so they need to make it clear.
The lawyer that made this was a bad one or evil smart.
