So much for "you can't unbake a cake".. I've seen comments on how terrible deconstructed stems sound - and I agree, it can sound off - in isolation. As with all things AI, this will improve with time - if we can imagine a thing, AI can render it for us with increasing fidelity. Meanwhile, I would argue that once a track, even one with artefacts is buried back in the mix, these issues disappear - if you're simply removing or altering the level of something, it's likely no-one could ever tell. Also, I think many people miss a huge potential application for RipX - deconstructing a mix to figure out how it works. This can be invaluable for ascertaining how parts are arranged or learning how to play a complex part. Whatever its shortcoming, the concept of RipX was deemed impossible and would've seemed like black magic only a few years ago.
hi Sam i just wanted to let you know, if i have a choice between channels covering the same topic. i choose yours because i know that the information i corrected and presented in an easily understandable manner. thanks
I appreciate that! Thanks. I always try and make it as easy to digest as possible.
I have tried this its incredible for missing stems, remixing and backing
It is an interesting tool for sure, it opens plenty of opportunities for music creators. On a side note, I Just imagine the face of the guy who recorded the snare and spent many hours working on it.
It's great for remixing stereo front of house to get a better balance.
is this just Rip X or Rip X Pro? Nice vid! Thanks!
My experience was guitars sounded like crickets or under water. How do you fix it?
Hi, thanks for the video. Are you using the standard version or pro version?
Is there a lot of bleed though when you separate the track. Some AI track separators there is a lot of weird bleed though. That why I was wondering
Fl studio already has this feature built in. Also updates for life free😊
The only downside being I’d have to use FL Studio 😷
What's it called in FL?
when i tried to live only the melody its sounds so bad
To me it just doesn’t cut it, the unmixed stems are messy and it doesn’t seem able to separate things completely or correctly. Guitars are an issue when you have a solo and it’s mixed in with more than one other guitar. Instrumentation that resides in similar frequencies are also an issue that the Ai has a problem with. So no it is not that good.
Thanks for video - May i ask how this actually works with your DAW? Thanks in advance....
Have worked it out for DAW - Have converted into stems.....
Glad you got there!
Hi Sam!
Great Video!
I was trying ripX. But once it rips its not opening in the DAW. Instead its just exporting as a folder into the Stem folder of RipX. Not able to bring the files to ripX daw. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Uncheck the option for saving stems(for DAW or DJ)
I need this programme
I suppose...if you're not a real musician.
"Selecting" rather than "creating" is what's ruining new music.
How do you mean?
@@chipgaasche4933 I’m a musician, this enhances my creativity
I'm temped to get it but checking things out before I make my move. Can you get this for a lifetime licence?
Yes, I did
How well does it do separating out multiple vocal parts? So for example, if a harmony vocal is out of tun, can you separate it and retune?
Yes. You can drag each note in a harmony to a different tune, or even re-draw the pitch along the note with the mouse...
It will after a fashion. The results will be a shrill, disgusting mess, but thats what everyone listens to these days, so...good to go!
tried it and it just did not work great for me. uninstalled it right away. it couldn't determine what was a vocal vs. what was a synth vs. "trumpet" vs. "guitar" or whatever other instruments it thought it was hearing that weren't actually in the song. i think it may be... MAY BE able to get you an acapella. probably not for a whole track, but if all you need is a snippet, there's a chance it will be clean enough to run through RX and try to get something serviceable. so... yeah... i guess we're still a ways off from AI being able to handle this sort of stuff
😱😱😱😱Bro Bad terms of use ?
what's up with this ?
If I record an original song in this DAW I can't release the song recorded with this DAW (hitnmix) according to this term of use.
whats up with this ?

Cool tool but it sounds pretty bad still. just imagine stuff like this 20 years from now.
So yea. It's powerful but a daw? I don't think so
Downvoted. im getting increasingly skeptical with each demo i see that waffles on and then maybe gives a few ropey sounding examples based on audio that was highly processed to begin with.
I wish to try it ( or pay someone) to remove annoying bgmusic from hundreds of yt vids.
Any demo that fails a basic reasonable production standard of comparing bedore and after audio in the first 30 seconds deserves a big fat downvote.
-----
Send me the videos and we’ll see what we can do 👍 No extra processing was involved in these demos by the way, it was straight out of the application.
I’d prob use a different software for something like that sort of task - maybe RX9 rather than stem extraction.
@@feldsparsongs2331 RX 9 doesn't have the AI.. does it ? AI sounds a bit hokey when you separate the sounds, but a LOT better than older tools. Sounds inherently conflict with each other so splitting them is not going to sound like you think it would if you solo'd on the mixing desk.. This tool is excellent at what it does. The best yet in my view.
Try it - it has a fully functional time limited demo. Convert your YT vid to wav/mp3 and rip it. This is the best available yet. The AU will get better as we go.
Sounds horrible, I mean literally the sound of it is horrible.
Sorry - but these are useless games and sounds. This is not for professional use because the sound is simply ruined after this program "decomposes" the song into its individual components. Distorted vocal/instrument sounds are useless for professional production. What you show is just for children to play at home.
Thanks, I hate it.
Oof, this guy is not good at making music. 😅
Sounds like The singer is in a tunnel.
Can we swap vocals using our trained .pth models like with Kits ai?
