We added chocolate cookie crumbles to the top as a garnish. It added a little crunch to the drink. We also used Godiva White Chocolate liqueur. Excellent
Totally disagree! Sometimes I think there are trolls out there that just go around "disliking" videos. Maybe your competition, who cares, they're idiots. I never dislike a video unless it promotes hate, could be harmful to animals or people or simply contains wrong information. If you don't like the drink, just move on.
I bet someone had a bad experience with this drink or it’s just not their cup of tea so they gave it a thumbs down. I don’t think they meant the video itself. ☺️
Hi steve! I had a cocktail party recently and the most popular by far was your chocolate martini.... equal vodak and creme de cacoa....but i used pink shimmer vodka! So pretty! It was the fact that it looked different to what people expected it to taste like.... thanks for the inspiration!
I like u ya big bloke. I am a retired pharmacist and i thought we have similar ways of making feel better. It's always better to be friendly instead of miserable
Hi Steve! Here's my take on a variation: 60 ml bonded bourbon 30 ml Mr. Black coffee liqueur Single dash Jerry Thomas bitters 22.5 ml cream Single coffee bean Combine first 3 ingredients in ice. Stir to dilute and chill. Pour over single cube in chilled rocks glass. Then layer cream evenly on top. Grate single coffee bean on top to your taste. This is my favorite variation. Careful, it packs a good wallop! Cheers!
Do you slice the vanilla bean open and throw it in or would that result in vanilla seeds in the vodka? I wanna recreate this and I agree that store bought vanilla vodka tastes kinda artificial.
Gotta love Steve...unlike the other channels on RUclips he does try to be all sophisticated by sayin he loves only Manhattan's and such and nothing sweet or creamy. Keepin it real..respect. Also if you swap the milk, cream and creme de cacao with a shot of Bailey's you will get a similar result
Hi Steve, cool drink, thank you so much for sharing the recipe, I was Just excited about preparing it on this upcoming weekend but I got a problem which is I can not find the white cream of cacao in Chile, so I was wondering if there is any substitute?, thank you so much for your work, its is amazing!!
Hey love ur vids! Fun idea for you in future, pick 5-10 people and ask their own made drinks. Serve and taste them and rate 😄 Love your vids, gives me inspiration on work 👍🏼
Wow, sounds like an amazing twist on already one of my favourite drinks. 👌 Also I don’t really want to go out and buy a bottle of vanilla vodka, do you think normal vodka is fine and are there any other ways to substitute than leaving a vanilla bean resting in vodka (I.e vanilla extract)
Yeah, vanilla extract will work a treat... try and get an 'authentic' one rather than a cheap imitation one with additives... otherwise plain vodka will work fine.. maybe drop the vodka a little and add a little more creme de cacao..
Steve you should try the Disarita, I think you would like it ! A Margarita variation with Disaronno! 25ml Disaronno 25ml Tequila 15ml Fresh Lime 5ml Simple Syrup Great videos as always, sheers!
Lumberjack Drink INGREDIENTS 1.5 oz Hennessy V.S .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .5 oz pure maple syrup 5 dashes angostura bitters Garnish: grated cinnamon Glass: Rocks DIRECTIONS In a shaker tin add all liquids and shake with ice, strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice, and garnish with grated cinnamon.
I've only seen a glass break one time and it was 100% the bartenders fault for knocking the glass and shaker against the bar top instead of using her hand.
G'day steve. You asked me to tell you what I was gonna make tonight for after work drinks. So far we've made all of your funky shots (that new one with the baileys was fuckin rancid mate), the 20th-century cocktail (...but cheaper) which was really nice, and all the cocktails in "5 most popular whiskey cocktails - vol 1". Thanks for all the ideas and def looking forward to making more. Birthday is this month and to celebrate I'm travelling from Christchurch up to the North Island of New Zealand to.... drink some more. Lol! Keep it up. :)
Hey Steve. I was trying to find tewuila sunrise. Looked like two times over and i can’t find it. Maybe you can do video with that. I just want sau i like your channel, doing your coctails all the time 🙂👍
How about a video with a variety of milk drinks? Milk/cream with Licor 43 is a great base for drinks! Solero 50ml Licor 43 60ml Passionfruit juice 80ml milk Shake with ice
The best flavored vodkas I've had are the ones I have infused myself. The best White Russian I've had was using cooked cream, my own coffee liqueur, and Absolute Vodka. This variation sounds delicious! I suspect the dislike was either a virtuous vegan or someone who overindulged in creamy cocktails!
Looks very tasty! Goes to the top of my todo list. Why is it called Crème de Cacao though when it's not creamy? It looks more like a cacao vodka or extract
OMG....we were drinking Black Russians on Saturday night and I said oh this would be nice with a bit of chocolate in it for a mocha flavour 😋 well done 🍸 Yum Yum
My wife LOVE'S White Russians and Colorado Bulldogs. I am going to make her this the next time we meet with friends. But I have a question, when you say "Chocolate Powder" is that just powdered chocolate, or hot chocolate powder?
Which person could dislike this vid tho????? Maybe they can't drink? And hate that fact lol You look like you had an "ahah" moment when you tasted it lol

The patented SSS "Steve Shaker Smile"

Could be an honest mistake, ive done it in the past where ive revisited a video and seen ive accidentally disliked it because of fat fingers
I bet someone had a bad experience with this drink or it’s just not their cup of tea so they gave it a thumbs down. I don’t think they meant the video itself. ☺️

I’m making these for my Christmas dinner thank you!!!
Nice one! Let me know how they go!
Parfait comme à chaque vidéo, bravo :)
Je vais essayer ça demain
Thanks for the Great Video Steve!
Most welcome Sebastian! Enjoy the cocktail! 🍫
I am absolutely going to try it out. I‘m a big fan of the original white russian! Can‘t wait for your next video!

Something to try tonight! Cheers ~
You will love this! Delicious!!
This is an awesome looking drink... I use your app alot when I'm in the mood for a drink, and I can't wait to make this one
Believe me it's taste even better than it looks 😍😀😉
I feel like this would be an epic dessert cocktail. I'll admit I never heard of a Russian Bride till now
Awesome, I enjoy watching your videos.
Thanks Ricer! Glad you like em!
steve's shake smile is the equivalent of bob ross's beating the devil out of his paint brush.
Great comment! Happy drinking! And God bless!

Swapping out 1/3 of the coffee liqueur with creme de cacao is great too.
That looks delicious 😋

This one also works very well with bourbon in place of the vanilla vodka.
That sounds awesome! Will have to give that a try!
@@Barprints That version is in my notebook as a Kentucky Cousin. (Chocolate White Russian is also known as a Russian Bride)
I'll like this better than the standard recipe for sure
What would you recommend as a substitute for white creme de cacao
Brown creme de cacao, any chocolate liqueur or maybe even a another liqueur like Licor 43.. 🤔
One day i will make one

I like the idea of using a real vanilla bean to infuse the vodka. Has to be MUCH better than the artificial flavorings that are usually used.
I love White Russian, so I must test that, but with other brands.
Just made this one for the first time tonight, and yeah. It's a good 'un.
Hey Steve. I was trying to find tewuila sunrise. Looked like two times over and i can’t find it. Maybe you can do video with that. I just want sau i like your channel, doing your coctails all the time 🙂👍

Why is it called Crème de Cacao though when it's not creamy? It looks more like a cacao vodka or extract
The word "crème" is French... I believe it refers to the creamy texture of the liqueur rather than the use of cream in it..
Come for the cocktail, stay for the smile.
The cream is just light/heavy cream ? And just regular milk?
gahdamn i know for sure that tastes soooooo good
Yeah 🤘
😁👏🙌
i want to make an apricot sour i haven't had one n years and it was my favorite drink.
Can the abv be calculated ?
You are nailing the slow mo shots... And I think the thumbs down are from those that can't handle their liquor 😜
Don’t wanna sound gay but his damn smile always gets me
You don't have to be gay to say someone is charming or handsome.
He literally turned me gay once he started smiling while shaking
Gay or straight, EVERYONE is charmed by Steve's smile!
😂😂😂
Sounds like a nice dessert. 😋 I even bet the Dude approves! The Dude imbibes!
If I waned to sub out Mr. Black for the Kaluha, would a barspoon of simple syrup be right to balance it a bit?
That sounds about right... try it and tweak if needed.
Steve your my inspiration
I like adding amaretto to my white Russians, but this sounds good too! I'll have to try it out!
It does look like a Chocolate Martini. What is the difference though? :)

Absolut Vanilla
