The RME ADI-2 Dac has been one of the best audio purchases for me. Very useful if you have a lot of different headphones and constantly use PEQ. Tone controls and able to do it from the remote is fantastic.
The ADI 2 DAC is a Masterpiece of Engineering! You have my maximum Respekt, Das Ding ist so mega gut durchdacht. Thank you so much for your efforts to make it even more useful to me.
The ADI-2 has been my best value hifi purchase in 40 years of hifi ownership. Tune every headphone to what YOUR ears like, not to what some RUclipsr reviewer thinks. Then the ongoing support with new apps (Adi-2 Remote) and firmware/drivers, so owners get ongoing benefits from their purchase - unlike China hifi with virtually zero support.
First of all: thank you. I was wondering myself it would be very very nice having them (I mean : the settings for actual market most available/popular headphones) pre-loaded into the next firmware update…. Maybe I am asking too much, but for sure an excellent starting point for future customizations according to personal tastes. Thx again for your support and professional attitude. GS from Italy (very happy ADÌ-2 DAC FS owner)
This demonstration showed that ADI-2 series should have two additional parametric eq settings with "Load B/T w Preset" set to ON Band Bass and Band Trebble. I initially couldn't find these two additional Parametric Eq settings for my RME adi-2 dac fs. The manual only mentions 5 bands of corrections. I have just updated the device to the latest firmware and now the extra Eq settings have been added 😊
Perfect timing of this video. Thanks for your great way of educating your customers. One question: What to do about / where to dial in the "pre-amp gain: minus x db" from Oratory1990's tables?
Are there other templates besides Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic headphones? Or, what if I want to adjust for speakers such as Sonus Faber bookshelf speakers?
I sometimes think you guys are looney-tunes scientists, but I happen to have the adi and 650 so I'm going to give it a shot. When I have a few hours. ;)
Here is my PEQ for HD600, I used Harman as base and fine tune to my personal taste, but sound is subjective so it won't suit everyone, but feel free to try. Peak -1.0 125 Hz Q 0.5 Peak -2.0 1300 Hz Q 1.5 Peak -3.0 3500 Hz Q 2.0 Peak -2.0 6000 Hz Q 4.0 Peak -3.0 10000 Hz Q 3.0 Low Shelf +3.0 85 Hz Q 0.7
My wish for a future release of the ADI-2 is the ability to make these types of adjustments from a web page. My DAC is not easly accesable and a web interface from a computer or phone would be the crowning jewel.
6:10 I like that even in this instructional video, they don’t manage to get rid of the white space after the edited name. If not even the makers can do it, how so they expect users to figure it out? 😂

One of the best features of the RME products!
So helpful. Thanks!
Simply, WOW

This nothing to worry about since the ADI has plenty of headroom.
Is there a way to EQ phones with that prcise correction on Fireface UFX+ ? It have only 4 EQ filters.

This is a straight shot on the dark, but can someone please help me get Total Mix on windows? I've tried everything and it will not populate
Can a too loud frequency of 13kHz-15kHz be corrected? In the video I only see frequency up to 10kHz. Thank you.
i need eq settings for playing fps games on pc
Are you supposed to mix with these headphone settings?

I tried it and it sounds really good to me! Thanks
The Dac is soooo versatile.
may i know what's changed since last time?
We had to change one diagram.
The EQ curve is subtle on my Sennheiser HD600, (to my ears) but a definite improvement to an already amazing sounding pair of headphones.
hd600 is a very well tuned headphone right out of the gate, so EQ hardly does anything to it

Peak -1.0 125 Hz Q 0.5
Peak -2.0 1300 Hz Q 1.5
Peak -3.0 3500 Hz Q 2.0
Peak -2.0 6000 Hz Q 4.0
Peak -3.0 10000 Hz Q 3.0
Low Shelf +3.0 85 Hz Q 0.7
Why do this ont he unit, and not just upload a TXT file from TotalMix?
Oratori1990 Audeze LCD-3 with Dekoni Fenestrated Sheepskin, my preferences: B3 (Presence): G+4->+1, B5 (Treble): G+6->+5
why r they not rack mountable 😢😢😢😢
I would love them to be rack mountable too. And i don’t want to drill holes in my unit..

We have released the new ADI-2 remote exactly for that just a few weeks ago!
Now this is what I call support. Awsome, I will let you know how it works. Thanks !
