I have exact same camera. What version of firmware is your camera using? No gyroscope option on my camera. Image stabilization not very good on my camera on things like running. My firmware is SN-AX-220921-V2.0
Anything with the AX firmware is the 2023 model with crappy internals. Old ones have the FX firmware. Multiple features are missing and the components are cheap and way worse. Easiest way to tell is the battery icon. Old ones have the icon as green, new ones have them as white.

How do you take off the waterproof case from the box cuz I’m struggling

Same problem here, seems to be lots of options missing from newer version of this Akaso, this is too bad

Yes. I'm pretty sure all action cameras use the same mounting system. I bought a generic accessory kit and it works fine on all my cameras.
