@NinjaKitchenUS thank you for the reply but I have already had a new one sent out. I haven't used it yet as I was just wondering what's the best thing to do after it's been in the freezer for 24hrs. Shall I leave the frozen tub at room temp for a while before putting it on a spin? Thank you kindly
I have it and it's an Awesome machine. When my ice cream comes out crumbly I just add AGAVE NECTAR and send it through the SPIN cycle and then it's Creamy. Love this machine!
That would have been cool (no pun intended), but what's great about this that takes it FAR above a blender is that you dont have to worry about getting the churn right for the consistency. You don't churn at all. You just mix and freeze, and the machine makes the ice cream with the smoothness and consistency. It's genius.
I noticed that too. Hell, you might as well get one of those other ones that are alot cheaper. I thought the machine made it right then and there...this is just one step up from using the rock salt version. They can come talk to me when I can put the ingredients in the bowl and it mixes right there and ready to eat.
@@aliciannaw.9915 It also absolutely wouldn't be 200 dollars. However this might give rise to traditional ice cream makers adding a second blade attachment with a motor for rotating and pushing it through the product. A sort of 2 in 1 function. A lot of people buy the makers that need the bowl frozen for a day prior, so for many, this will be no different and produce superior results in comparison if the homemade base is more watery (lower sugar, lower fat etc) If you combine a blender and ice cream maker, it would likely be 600 dollars and overtime get cheaper knockoffs that break faster.
@@carmens3685 Perfect for people making ice creams that just do not freeze well, like low sugar, low fat or protein ones. I would rather be able to make literally any base in the world with mix ins and then just put it a machine to get ice cream consistency. When I think of an Ice Cream maker I think of a device where I load my raw ingredients into it and it does the rest. This isn't an Ice Cream Maker at all, it only stirs the solution that you make and freeze ahead of time.
What if you want to use 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk & cream? & what does the cost break down to making 1 pint compared to the high-end store brands like Ben & Jerry's?
Great question, Jay! Using half & half may change the consistency of your ice cream. With this said, you may need to use the Lite Ice Cream function and the Re-spin option. For the cost per pint, this will vary depending on the ingredients being used.

We love to hear your inquiry, Isa! We recommend processing the pint at temps between 9 degrees F, and -7 degrees F. If you feel that the pint is colder than that you can leave it sitting out for a bot to get it warmer, but otherwise it should be fine when you take it out of the freezer to process.

This should also be called a reverse ice cream maker as it smoothes the rock hard bases that you freeze rather than pouring it in a maker and freezing after it makes it into soft serve. This needs to be marketed as a home product to save over frozen ice cream and making bases with out many stabilizers a regular home cook just wouldn't have around. Calling it an ice cream maker gets amazingly confusing. It's more like an oscillating blender for super frozen things with the intent of turning them into smooth far less crystalized frozen treats.

Hi there! You would make and freeze the base, then process it in the CREAMi. The CREAMi transforms frozen solid bases into ice cream, sorbets, milkshakes, and more at the touch of a button. Creamify technology enables the CREAMi to break down a uniformly frozen block into an incredibly smooth, creamy texture in minutes.
You have to make the base yourself regardless. If it is a cooked base, it needs to be chilled in the fridge before putting it through a traditional ice cream maker. You can’t put a warm or room temp base through one of those. The product then comes out soft and often needs to be scraped into another container to be hardened a bit, unless everyone is ready to eat it right away at a soft serve consistency. With this one, you can make your base(s) and keep them in the freezer for when the mood for ice cream strikes, then mix it up in a few minutes. Overall I don’t see it as any more work, and it might even be a little less. It’s a different method and one that’s been around for decades in the restaurant used pacojet machine. This is basically a home version of that machine.
Thank you for your interest in our Ninja Creami! We are happy to confirm that you will be able to make low carb ice cream. We have a substitution list in your included inspiration recipe guide. Please reach out if you have any questions. Have a wonderful weekend!
I was really disappointed with the Creami. We received it as a gift after we mentioned that it appeared to be something we would enjoy. I was expecting something wondrous and fun to use with the family;however, What I got was a machine that recommends that I purchase instant drink mix, pre-sweetened yogurt with fruit, etc. that I need to freeze for 24 hrs before I run through the cutting blade. Frankly, I can use my ice cream maker that requires ice and salt and enjoy fresh ice cream in an hour. I can even use the ice cream maker to make sorbet or frozen ice. I haven't seen anything about this machine that I would recommend or find particularly worth the money.
Absolute junk. Got the pro version off QVC. Trying to register a product that does not show on their database as a VALID number is a nightmare. As for the product itself, followed instructions to the T, and EVERY time when the blade came down it either scratched the plastic containers making the ice cream inedible as shards of plastic were dropped in the container, or the nubs at the bottom holding the iced product in place lifted up causing the whole machine to shake. Don't waste yer money!

You can use your blender to do this. This doesn't even freeze anything. You have to freeze it yourself. I'll use my ninja blender that I've been eyeing to do this. This is no different than using a blender. If this machine froze the Icecream then I would've wanted to buy it. That would've been the main thing that set it apart from using a blender. Nice machine though.
It's different in that the blades aren't stationary and are on metal screw pole to be pushed through out the product. Most blenders absolutely could not handle frozen solid bases like this. You wouldn't even be able to get it out of a container to put it in a blender. The main use for this is homemade ice cream with out stabilizers, since it tends to freeze solid and becomes inedible.
The price is about right. An actual, good, ice cream maker is 300-400, usually more. Vitamix and Blendtecs work similar because of their raw power, but are also more expensive. For the power needed , 200 is about right

Thank you for your question. You do not need to leave the CREAMI pint on the counter. You can choose a program immediately.
I have it and it's an Awesome machine. When my ice cream comes out crumbly I just add AGAVE NECTAR and send it through the SPIN cycle and then it's Creamy. Love this machine!
We're so happy you love your CREAMi, Blanca! 😊
So you have to pre chill the mix the mix it so it's not an ice-cream maker just a fancy blender
That's exactly what it is. If this machine would've froze the ice cream it would've been so worth it and would've set it apart from using a blender.
A lot of people buy the makers that need the bowl frozen for a day prior, so for many, this will be no different and produce superior results in comparison if the homemade base is more watery (lower sugar, lower fat etc)
If you combine a blender and ice cream maker, it would likely be 600 dollars and overtime get cheaper knockoffs that break faster.
@@carmens3685 Perfect for people making ice creams that just do not freeze well, like low sugar, low fat or protein ones.
I would rather be able to make literally any base in the world with mix ins and then just put it a machine to get ice cream consistency.
Real sick of desperately trying xanthan gum, vodka and other stabilizers to prevent giant ice crystals. So many different recipes that didn't work because it froze into a rock.
When I think of an Ice Cream maker I think of a device where I load my raw ingredients into it and it does the rest. This isn't an Ice Cream Maker at all, it only stirs the solution that you make and freeze ahead of time.
Love Love Love my Creami! Thank you Ninja.
Ninja creami machine does not give proper cleaning instructor. You need to clean the rubber seal, and rod. How come ninja missed this?
What if you want to use 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk & cream? & what does the cost break down to making 1 pint compared to the high-end store brands like Ben & Jerry's?
Great question, Jay! Using half & half may change the consistency of your ice cream. With this said, you may need to use the Lite Ice Cream function and the Re-spin option. For the cost per pint, this will vary depending on the ingredients being used.
The bowl she put in the microwave, isn't it metal at the top
They edited out the sparks and fire....lol

Typically I think of an ice cream maker as something that chills and churns a base into ice cream. This is like a milk blender

We're happy to hear you received the Ninja Creami for Christmas! Feel free to check out amazing recipes here: spr.ly/6050Rgmy2
Hint, if you freeze the pints with the lid off, it won't mound up in the center and need to be flattened prior to spinning. Try it. Love my Ninja Creami
do I still use the ice cream setting if I use whole milk in place of the heavy cream in the ice cream recipes?
Yes, you can still use the ice cream setting!
Out of curiosity: what is the difference with using any other blender?
Hello, Ireeeeen! Thank you for your interest in the CREAMi. It is not able to be used like a blender. The Creamify Technology dues a dual drive motor to apply downward pressure and spin the creamerizer paddle that finely shaves and churns ice particles into the creamiest treats.
@@NinjaKitchenUSno. It doesn’t. It’s a blender. And an expensive one at that. So disappointed in this it isn’t even funny. What a waste of money.
HI! when making ice cream when I want to freeze some leftover will it frozen block had ? or can I eat it straight from the freezer? is most of the times will I need to re spin it?t
I've been doing this with my regular blender for the longest for my Nicecream I eat everyday for breakfast. You can add all kinds of toppings & it taste just like ice cream. I love it. ❤ This new ninja creami is cute tho if u wanna dish out $200 😏
What blender are you using?
Can you share your recipe?
@@gattamom hi! Just look up Nicecream on RUclips. You'll find different flavors. You need to use frozen fruits..primarily chopped up banana for me as a base. Sometimes I'll add a few blueberries or strawberries if I want it to taste more like blueberriesor strawberry. Or I'll add matcha powder or even chocolate pieces. U blend it until it's creamy & u add a bit water as u blend... depending on the consistency of creamy U like. I have nicecream every day for breakfast honestly with a side of warm oatmeal. It's delish!
@@Skaleezay Which is great, but a regular blender can't typically handle the rock hard bases of sorbet or regular ice cream. It also doesn't require watering it down.
I'm going to use it to make zero sugar protein ice creams that otherwise will freeze rock solid. I'm so stoked to get this when it finally comes to the EU.

I got the Ninja Creami after learning that most ice cream is bio- engineered! And I love it and the fact that you know exactly what is in your ice cream when you make it yourself.
We appreciate the love and support! 🥰🍨
Lol literally every food is bio-engineered
Before spinning do you have to let it sit before spinning??? I don’t want to break the machine
Thank You for taking the time to create and share this wonderfully informational and helpful video with us all ❤️
If I want to add items like cookie dough. Do I add that before or after mixing?
After, and there's a mix-in button
The problem is that I can do this in my food processor bowl, my blender, or my mixer. Another appliance just isn't feasible.
We understand your concerns, Vickie. We want to inform you that the Ninja CREAMi is equipped with our Creamify Technology. The Dual Drive Motors apply downward pressure and spin the Creamerizer Paddle that finely shaves and churns ice particles into the creamiest treats. Hi there!
Question: This looks amazing as it reminds me of a more affordable and sensible for at home cooking version of a pacojet. But could the Creami also turn small cuts of chicken or fish frozen with cream and egg into a mousse / farce? ☀️
Thank you for asking, Maude. The Creami is not made for making stuff like mouse or farce, and we do not recomend using it for that. To find recipe ideas for it we recomend going to www.ninjakitchen.com/recipes/?q=&sort=Newest&tags=&page=1.
They may not recommend it, but if you are willing to buy a new one in case it doesn't go well, you could give it a shot. So long as it's not going to blow up or catch fire.

@@NinjaKitchenUS Hi Ninja! How about maple syrup and non-dairy milk. Does that fall under regular spine or lighter spin? Thanks. Mine arrives next week.
FlavCity has a great Shamrick Protein ice-cream recipe.
Wow nice ice cream maker 😊❤
This should also be called a reverse ice cream maker as it smoothes the rock hard bases that you freeze rather than pouring it in a maker and freezing after it makes it into soft serve.
This needs to be marketed as a home product to save over frozen ice cream and making bases with out many stabilizers a regular home cook just wouldn't have around.
Calling it an ice cream maker gets amazingly confusing. It's more like an oscillating blender for super frozen things with the intent of turning them into smooth far less crystalized frozen treats.
You are 100 percent correct. I took your suggestion and redeemed some month-old ice cream. The Ninja made it edible again.

So it doesn't make actually ice-cream?
You still have to make and freeze the base yourself
Found a brand new one at Goodwill for $12.99! Lucky day for sure!

Substitute that cream cheese for mascarpone and your life will change.
would be nice if you showed how to remove the top for the container. Before I make anything, I need to take the top off.

Hello BST. The Creamify technology works by the Dual Drive Motors applying downward pressure and spin the Creamerizer Paddle that finely shaves and churns ice particles into the creamiest treats.
I was gonna send this to my husband but not after seeing who’s demonstrating the product lol
You gotta refreeze the ice cream for like an hour after you spin it for best results.
So it's an over priced blender?
Hi, Kelly. The CREAMi isn't a blender as it has much more options, and a unique design. The Ninja CREAMi allows smooth deserts with any mix in treat of your choice, and the pints are safe to freeze.
This is basically a domestic "pacojet" that's been around in the commercial and high end restaurant scene for ages, they cost 1000s so this is great that there's a cheaper version for home use, il definitely be buying one before summer hits
