We have one here in calif at sfmm and I chickened out last second but definitely going to ride it in the summer
I certainly wouldn't chicken out. I've been on Saw: The Ride at Thorpe Park, so I am confident that I can handle any roller coaster in the world.

Am I crazy or didn't this used to "face backwards" going up the first drop then flip over so you were facing the ground and essentially "flying" through till the end?

I have, however, been on Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park (another B&M invert). The back row on that ride can make you very dizzy.
