@@khidaka1978 yes, especially when he made dubious history winning no money in the regular game and won no money in the bonus game (in the Elizabeth Banks version).
What shocked me was Michael winning all of that using 9 spins with 3 whammies! Seriously, he won $33,380 in cash and prizes! For that period in time, that was unbelievable!
Technically, this marathon had six episodes they hadn't shown before, though granted, those six in question were shown on GSN, too. Buzzr liked my post on Facebook where I mentioned a few of the Whammy animations that were introduced during the 700's among my favorites, so I guess they're aware by now that it continued past #697.
This is the biggest show about greed these people will have over 200,000 and major prizes and they got to press their luck one more time. Shows you how powerful the devil is.. Greed will sink your ship every day of the week...
Yes, greed is just as a slippery moral slope just as any other vice. You could say money is sinful and corrupts by its very nature. I will not relax on this opinion, the idea is about more than a game.
I can't watch that show, I never seen people crazy that win money that won't even get them through a year. The screaming and the acting crazy like a mad mad is just unbelievable.
@@NicoLodge I notice on a lot of those ges shows they had crappy jobs. Some of the men looked like they where in there mid 30's and still going to college.
I love the "Grabbing your Head that Your Opponent Looses Greed" it is hilarious!

Happy 40th, Press Your Luck! You are one of the greatest game shows ever.
My favorite moment was the back-and-forth battle with 1 spin! That was unreal!
Thanks grandma all three contestants come back to the show $0 winning. Love the show 😃
Fitting tribute to the show's host as well.
Remember this game from the 80s I was 8 in 1984. Wish it was on DVD.

How the heck did this show get cancelled back in the 80s? It's as exciting and fun as anything else that was on at the time.

ABC needs to air an episode on May 19th, 2024 to honor the 40th anniversary of Michael Larson's epic $110K win.
The Whammy’s favorite song: Another One Bites The Dust by Queen 👸.
Michael deserved that win.

It's a shame BUZZR couldn't air an episode they hadn't already for the fortieth anniversary.
