Performance Mode on Series S doesn't look like 1080p. I think its bigger - 1260p or dynamic 1440p (more dynamic than in quality mode). Or maybe this is result of FSR 2.1.
Im not really graphics person, so light differences does not matter and when Im gaming I dont compare. Anything from 360 times onward are enough good graphics for me. But faster loading times and fast return to games option is something important.

5:30 what’s going on with the series x having like fall scenery and s having like dead winter scenery are those different times of day in game? So far everything else looked way similar before this and goes back to the same after it
I don't remember it looking like that when I played it on the Xbox one. I played through it again on the Xbox one x and do remember it running better, but it's chugging along with constant frame rate dips on the Xbox one.
The RTGI and RTAO is noticeable from a mile away. The biggest thing is the colouration and how grass have dark ao under them which makes them feels grounded instead of the nonRT one. Oh btw. Series s doesn't have RT in quality mode.
The colours on my series x seem a lot brighter than it is shown in this video in the quality mode but anyway I rather performance mode quality mode is unstable
On series x did it have 60 fps from fps booster even before the update? I played it a few days before update and then after on performance mode. Did not notice all that improvement in graphic... Maybe some textures but it waa good and smooth even before...
I’m not sure if this is what you’re asking, but the series X offers a “performance” mode which enables 60 frames per second but ray tracing is turned off, it’s so much nicer at 60fps imo!!

I love how they added extra scenery elements like grass, flowers, and reeds instead of just increasing fps and resolution. makes the game so much more atmospheric.
Broke down and bought a series x because it has better performance than my pc that has a ryzen 5 3600x and 2060 and also for the next gen sports titles. PC still useful for everything else though such as music production, video editing, and a little programming and developing.
Oh wow, I have just realised truly how far I’ve been behind. Watching the Xbox One being compared to the series S felt like a comparison of the 360 and the Xbox One fr. Mainly because there was whole texture packs missing even things as simple as grass makes a big difference lmao.
Just got the series X today and have been playing on my first playthrough of this amazing game since 2016 with almost 300hrs,went 2-3 years of rarely playing it. The game is massive,its own world so rich and full of things to encounter or find or stumble unto. Ill probably play a good 200-500 more hours of playing with the DLC i have for it. The game looks great and plays very smooth on the X. I dont even have a 4k tv but will be getting one within a year. The load times are where the real notiveable differences come into play and quick resume is cool but wont work with online games. The main reason i chose the series X over the series S is the memory. The X has plenty of memory with 800 gb. I filled 17 x/s optimized games with the 800gb,i think its 805gb. Plus the X is future proof and i should be set for 5-7 years. May eventually buy an official memory stick.
As a owner of a SX, I have to admit that Series S wins the Clash. I wish I hadnt splashed out so on SX, instead a SS, which is best the bang for my buck.

I think that you made a mistake with the titles in your comparations, because when you compare the 3 consoles series S looks better than the other and when you compare only S & X, this last looks way better and looks pretty similar to the S from the first comparation, and I don't think that series S was quicker than X when you download a game.
Oh trust me you would be surprised of how quick the series S loads games. Maybe is because of the power of the series x and that it has to load games in higher resolution, but the series S does load games faster most of the times

Check what version you have - If its 4.0.0.1 or higher you are good. But your console may need to connect online to verify you own the game at times - unless its set as your "home console"

Soapy grass, low draw distance and soapy textures in dialogs annoy me. This soap appears precisely in the dialogues, outside of them there are no problems at all. And sometimes there is a bug with the sound after meditation, the sound lags. I hope that in the near future they will release a patch for consoles, and indeed for all platforms, otherwise I can’t play like that

Sure is a lot of people saying the series S sure is a powerful little machine....can you say bot.
Both Series S and X could not reach full power until now. Maybe they need a year or two. I have faith gta vi may force the hardware.. Graphics are pretty good on X one too
Soapy grass, low draw distance and soapy textures in dialogs annoy me. This soap appears precisely in the dialogues, outside of them there are no problems at all. And sometimes there is a bug with the sound after meditation, the sound lags. I hope that in the near future they will release a patch for consoles, and indeed for all platforms, otherwise I can’t play like that

Xbox Series S is a console that is halfway between the previous generation and this one. But at a ridiculous price and offering very good graphic quality at very high speeds. Without a doubt, the SERIES S is the winner of this generation QUALITY PRICE.
Xbox one X version is closer to Series S, except for the fps... But much better than One, the One X manages to keep 30 rock - solid fps
Series s is useing higher textures and has much better draw distance than one x even is its 60fps mode

Meh...I think xbox one still looked great. If xbox one had 360 graphics and we went to xbox series x graphics ok that would be really great but more flowers on the ground? Meh...loading time is important so that's a plus especially playing games like this one and AC: Valhalla. But you have to give it to xbox one it still holds up.
