Victoria de los Angeles, the operatic soprano, later exclusive recitalist, an accomplished interpreter of both the German Lied & the French mélodie, was internationally acclaimed for putting her native Spanish/Catalonian song (la cançion), on the classical music map... heard here in the solemn purity to which both her voice & temperament were also suited (remember her Carmen & zarzuela performances for a taste of the lustier, spicier palate she could display). What a perfect Sunday morning experience!
Many thanks to you lochness11 for sharing this hallowed moment.

Thankyou mckavitt13. It is indeed a great Sunday experience.
In my opinion the Temple Church is remarkable for it's recordings of Master Ernest Lough in 1927 and nearly forty years later the recordings of Victoria de los Angeles!
Have you heard anything recently about Alejandro's health?
