@@taya1584 It's a lateral flow test aka rapid antigen test not a genome test like the PCR test. It only looks for specific protein markers. You conspiracy theorists are really getting ridiculous.

Everyone giving conflicting information on where to put the swab.... some say in outer nostril.... others say it goes back in a way similar to the PCR tests.... this is for the same kit BTW. oh well haven't had to do it recently so I guess the end result is the same.

Yes! They are ticklish! It helps to apply a LITTLE bit of pressure on the outside with your finger during the 5 seconds per nostril . . . or do the 2nd method where you insert deep back, which I found not ticklish.
This is going to go…..really poorly lol.
My test didn’t show positive for almost an hour after I performed this test off of these instructions. Just a word of advice to wait long and look hard. Sometimes the line is very faint.
If it doesn't turn positive in 15 minutes then you aren't positive...even if it turns positive an hour later.
That is likely just an evaporation line. They happen with any liquid tests including pregnancy and ovulation tests.
You need to assess based on the time recommended in the instructions.
@Tan Tan She did it correctly. There are two methods listed in the instructions for that test and she did one of the methods.
You see the thing is I feel worse then last time I had COVID with the same symptoms but it came back negative and I’ve already had 3 COVID shots I’m just saying something ain’t right

I did one like 2 hours ago and decided to check again 10 minutes ago and the normal line that goes at the c was there but then there was a line above it so idk what that means

You are meant to check after 15 minutes ONLY. Once you pass 30 minutes, which it should state in the instructions, its faulty or whatever. If you’re unsure, call the doctor and they’ll send you to get PMR, or take another one and see.

Basically if u have 2 lines, u have covid, if u have 1 like below u don't. If u have one line above, it's inconclusive. They should have added it but they rushed it

@@user-ud8mt6fj1m yeah, it's a rapid test. I tested it out at work one day. I took 4 and got 2 negatives and 2 positives. Pcr tests are about 70 to 80 percent.

you are not peanut butter, it is made to detect specific antibodies in covid and it can be detected in some fruit but in you only detected if you have covid.. don't take it as not being accurate it was accurate for my whole family
Great concept - but I don't see many being able to follow the instructions as well as she demonstrated. The more false negatives from this test, the greater the spread!

SO weird. Maybe it's a different test? Maybe different instructions? Maybe it doesn't matter if it's 3 drops or 4 drops?
Step one: Take rapid test.
Step two: Throw it to the nearest garbage bin.
Step three: Continue living your life normally. (Not “new normal”).
