If you're dealing with COVID at home, nurses recommend that you get up as much as you can to avoid liquids settling in your lungs. They also suggest that you try and sleep on your front or side to avoid pressure on your lungs. Also yes to hot foods, not cold. Make sure to eat foods with potassium (bananas, etc.). That's some tricks that have helped people I know.

I think the vaccine should be provided to people over 65 first then to first line workers.
@@dragospahontu Well that is what they are doing (on about UK) except the frontline workers are included in the first group as they are more likely to catch it (even if they are young and are more likely to be fine). Of course, being healthy is great to combat symptoms but also its just a natural lottery aswell

So you can still transmit it to elderly people that's why they should focus more on +65.

As a covid tester with a biomedical science bachelor degree, I can confirm this. A lot of things can factor the staining here. From how well you're taking a sample from the nose, to how prevelant the virus is in that area you sampled. I would also like to add that those test aren't the most reliable, whatever the producer might say. False negatives are a possibility, the most important thing before going outside again is having no more symptoms.

Within my job I work with alot of young people and sharing this video with them will help showcase how easy it is to pick it up and what symptoms can be developed along the way.

My mum is a nurse and she got Covid at the end of March, still doesn’t have her sense of taste or smell back :( Seems younger people do recover quicker and get it back though so I’m sure Josh will get his back!
I’m 14 and got COVID. I did get my taste back but it completely changed. It took like 6 months before I could taste.

Tip for those taking the lateral flow test:
If you're afraid of gagging or vomiting when swabbing the back of your mouth, use your fingers on your free hand to lightly pinch your nose closed. It can stop you from gagging.

I had covid as well during first week of christmas holidays, i had sypmtoms that kept me in bed during day and awake during night even though I am fit and young. It shows that even the young and healthy can still be affected in a negative way with this new varient

Had Covid a few weeks ago beginning of the new year, may have picked it up in a hospital as I’m a cleaner there, feel fine now but can hardly smell anything still but can taste a little but not like I normally can so hopefully it’ll sort itself out soon for the both of us, much love and keep safe king👑🙌🏻
