I think that line sums the search album. He’s moved on from the early chapters of his career, but what drives him now. What issues does he still need to deal with and put to bed so he can find the happiness he wants so desperately
Simply put, this is a contender for his best song. He has so many incredible songs, it’s hard to pick. But this is surely a strong contender

NF's truly talented real music is the therepy we all need that don't want or can't afford to get. He touches on a level deeper than any other artist I've ever listened to. I stopped being a fan of rap a long time ago because I got tired of hearing the constant nonsense. When I got introduced to NF's music back in 2017, I knew right then just from his lyrics when I heard his song Why that he was legit and not a fake. NF has made a bigger impact than he knows and I pray that God continues to use him in a big way!

Kyle, you hit it on the nail!! It's weird on Sundays when my pastor talks about the exact thing I've been struggling with and it IS a little uncomfortable because it feels like his sermon was written towards me. It feels the same way with Nate sometimes. I think there are two reasons: 1. If it's the truth then it's always what you need to hear, hearing it just reminds you of that fact 2. I think it's a God thing. I think he has a way of speaking to us through various channels like that and God is intentional. I think he almost wants you to feel uncomfortable so that you'll actually listen to what he's saying.

Man every time you guys post an NF video it makes me want to stop what I'm doing and listen to him for the day but I find myself having to just go back to your reactions and that's how I'm listening to his music, you guys give me clarification that what I'm feeling is what I'm supposed to be feeling when I listen to him through your reactions, it's like not wanting to watch a movie that you've seen before because you've seen it but you would rather watch it with someone that hasn't seen it because you want to see their reaction and it makes the movie that much better even though you know every scene that's coming

First off NF is amazing. We all try and figure out his best song and some people may want to pick a harder song or a aggressive song or maybe a song he sings in . As we know they all will be REAL. This one is pretty high up there in my mind of one of the best songs. You just can't find too many artists who are this real with their lyrics and so relatable. Im glad you made it to this one as I really believe its one of his best overall songs. On the letter H, I wonder if it could be a hint to an album title like HOPE. As he has mentioned at times how he wants to be introduced to hope as they haven't met still. So searching to find hope. Just a guess as it was nice he released the snippet of a new song this week in Instagram. Great reaction and sorry for long post. Lol

I think the factor that gets me is that on songs like this... literally every verse is filled with profoundly deep thoughts, one after the other. What's impressive is that it took myself many years to arrive at these determinations, and he just articulates them w the perfect amount of vulnerability and honesty. It could very easily come off as whining or self-victimizing, but it doesnt.
Hope you guys are alright man. I know this is difficult to get through but you guys doing these are the best parts of my days sometimes.

Man this one always hits me. It reminds me of my childhood, specifically my little brother that passed away a couple years ago. But at least I can actually listen to this song. I haven’t listened to How Could You Leave Us since he died and I don’t know if I ever will again

My childhood had good moments, but I don’t really think of it as being the best times of my life. Yes, times were simpler, but a lot of bullshit happened back then. I’m in a much better place right now and I don’t think I would ever want to go back even tho there are benefits of being a kid/teenager.

The Search album was written when Nate was going through a lot, so while it may seem depressing, it is very real and authentic. It actually tells a story of overcoming that place. Expect nothing less from Nate.

Every time we evolve as humans, we have to look back on our past and become better, know our mistakes and break through them. NF's music isn't just music, its not even art, it has become its own being, a life moving and learning on its own... Its amazing, heartbreaking, and it lives in people's hearts. It hurts, it heals, it protects... Its real.
Its an insane thing, because not only is this because of his music and his evolution, every piece of him he puts into this has become real, has made someone be a better person, saved another life. From his music, to even his marketing style. His marketing style has brought out the important parts of his music's "life"..
