And with only two major chain stores to buy food from in our country, there's no escaping it - everyone needs food - how can you give consent properly when there's nowhere else to buy food from legitimately?
Thats part of the issue, America has created capitalism and made us consumers without consent and now the “only way” we can get food is by going to the stores, however if we were growing our own food in communities we wouldn’t need to go to stores, or depend on capitalism, we wouldn’t be consumers anymore and that’s bad for capitalism

If anyone sees one of those little signs in a business in their state it might be worth trying to sue them. I live in a two party consent state meaning that I can’t record a conversation that I’m having with you unless you know I’m recording it. Back in the 90s or early 2000s the Dunkin’ Donuts near me decided they wanted to spy on their employees by installing microphones on the cameras over the registers and in the back. And so they put a little sticker on the door by the handle next to the sticker with the hours and another sticker advertising a breakfast sandwich, and the sticker that says shoes and shirts are required. And the little sticker said they were using video and audio monitoring. And they got sued because the microphones were picking up conversations that customers were having in the dining area or in line or at the register, and people found out because the employees would sit in the back and listen to these conversations for entertainment and then repeat them to other people so someone finally said something. And they had to take the listening devices out because the court ruled that putting a little sign on the door with a bunch of other little signs wasn’t adequate notice, people walking through the door weren’t necessarily consenting. And I guess they decided they would lose business if people realized they were being eavesdrop on, especially after it came out because employees were listening and mocking people so they just took the microphones out completely. So my point is that if you live in a two party consent state I’m not sure if it applies to this stuff but it’s quite possible that sticking some random sign in a window with a bunch of other signs isn’t proper notification for consent
As someone whos worked in retail for 10 years ive only known of one person stealing and it was chicken in the deli. Idt its about the employees, most of our loses come from damages usually from the warehouse or in transit.
I wonder if we would have stopped this if we knew that it was so they could roll in dynamic pricing and charge people they think can pay more more money for items other people pay less for. Somehow I think Americans would still be OK with that if it means people they don’t like have to pay more money even if it means they also pay more money
Boycotted walmart for one, years ago....because three of my friends had at least one very injured family member who got nothing for their trouble. Every company would copy them if they could, tho, it seems.

Don't forget your phone has MAC address and several other stuff labeling it, and is constantly trying to connect to a cell tower and polling nearby WiFi, just to check what is out there
Omg im watching this at my lunch break at Wally World right now and omfg seriously… I knew it…
I'm sorry but honest question: where am I supposed to buy food when all stores do this in my area and there are no farms left because theyre forced to close their Farm stores due to too much competition? Like ... what options do it have at this point?
You best start believing in cyberpunk dystopias, you're in one
The "3rd wall breaks" in these videos are slightly terrifying, but I love it lmao.
"F*ck you, Carol!!"
I live in Illinois so hopefully the BIPA makes this illegal but yk companies still do stuff even when it illegal
It occured to me the other day, just a thought in my mind, that if I wanted to buy a clothes washi g machine or a set of underwear I have no physical stores anywhere near me that I could purchase those essentials at without it being a publicly traded corporation. The amount of mom&pops I've watched quietly disappear over just the past decade is terrifying.
If they're putting critical data on QR codes, then I've got some shortened URLs to encode...
i gotta learn anti-ai makeup
Look into insane clown posse makeup
Seriously the ai cannot figure it out
If anyone sees one of those little signs in a business in their state it might be worth trying to sue them.
So my point is that if you live in a two party consent state I’m not sure if it applies to this stuff but it’s quite possible that sticking some random sign in a window with a bunch of other signs isn’t proper notification for consent
the gov wants to ban tiktok on the basis of security but they let this sh** slide? i hate it here.
I love your stories! Started at gnome war ❤... and props to your props! Whisper voice ( the phone case in this case)
Time to start wearing a mask and using cash
Walmart knows that I pray with their customers when I see them in pain or in a cast. 😂
'Target' living up to the name.
If you pay with a card they have your name and banking info. A quick reverse lookup can give them an address. No need to know other ceos.
Wait until you here about LexisNexis😱
As someone whos worked in retail for 10 years ive only known of one person stealing and it was chicken in the deli. Idt its about the employees, most of our loses come from damages usually from the warehouse or in transit.
The fourth wall breaks💀💀💀
I'm not much of a consumer, but I will be scanning QR codes now.
Careful because QR codes can also track you or contain malware
You use internet. You use their apps. Your phone may even accidentally connect to their wifi. they got you weather you walk in the store or not. 😂
When it comes to privacy we live in dark ages.
You've gotten a new subscriber!
Always give the wrong information. Withholding information gives more info than giving wrong answers
Time to buy local and support small families
I wonder if we would have stopped this if we knew that it was so they could roll in dynamic pricing and charge people they think can pay more more money for items other people pay less for.
Somehow I think Americans would still be OK with that if it means people they don’t like have to pay more money even if it means they also pay more money
Im not reading terms of service. Ever.
Amazing🎉great work bae!!!
Too bad it's not legally binding unless they list specifically what they're going to do One day people will realize this
Great video
Oh screw it let them at this point honestly dont care damn 1% just sees you as a $$$
This is why I shop online. MYOB. Just be a freaking store.
Thanks for the anxiety. I work at… well now I don’t want to say. But I’m sure RUclips already knows.
That minority report movie is coming true fast as fuck boys.
How many years has the NSA been open? Because that shit came with a quickness.
Boycotted walmart for one, years ago....because three of my friends had at least one very injured family member who got nothing for their trouble. Every company would copy them if they could, tho, it seems.
Wait ... Thermal cameras!? So Wal fart knows how much back pain I'm in and they still put the milk in the back of the store and pet food on the other side of the store!? 🙄
i like the fourth wall breaks as a direct address to the audience!
Those robots that notify cleanup actually scan to see if kbown customers are in the store ..also the store discount cards help create your algorithm buy what you buy
Everyone start wearing red pull over hoodies and face masks to walmart.
Fuck the algorithm
My ADD has me buying duct tape, birdseed, and motor oil on a typical outing if corporations can interpret any intent in my words or actions I desperately hope they will share it with me I ache for clarification 👺
What store was this video made based off?
We will really need better privacy laws in America.
Keep wearing a mask, 😷 honestly
I mean, good luck to whoever wastes money on my information 😂 I’m a literal nobody traveling life alone with nothing to my name so having my info is useless.
No receipt . . . Did you pay for that with a credit card? I can look up of you bought this item with that credit card . . . oh and your name is on the card.
Girl You are so sharp! I know one National Corporation in particular that does this, but mentioning their name in this comment would get it shadow-banned. It happens every time. So I will not. But I think everyone knows who they are anyway...
If you’re talking about “Wally World,” know that’s a thing it’s called in the south (so ppl can google it to figure out what you mean) and is likely not going to be filtered out.
@lizzyblitz07 yea we call it that here too..
Well that's not terrifying at all, and how have I not heard of this yet?😳
okay?
I just wont go into retail stores
Feel like this can also be used for voter suppression as well.
Turn off the wifi and bluetooth too or they will get into your phone
You better break the 4th wall!!!!
Damn dude.
The weird thing is finding out you're gay from this 🤣 true story, it's how I found out
just another reason to wear a mask in public places y'all. be safe out there
And look like a robber?
McDonald's? Can AI get reward money?
Look up the targeted individual psyop
"Act accordingly" 😂 like what you do will have any impact on anything 😂 What exactly are we supposed to do here? Just not buy anything from anywhere? There's no escaping the surveillance "state" though at this point it's not even the government doing it "for your own good" it's greedy people doing it for their own good.
Umm idk the computer playing God no way I could have been right
This has to be illegal, right? please tell me it is.
