- For this weeks' episode of Coffee Walk, I wanted to show you guys the 69' Jaguar XKE Coupe that I picked up with Kelsey and Alex this past Saturday. This green beauty has been sitting in a garage in Dallas since 1987 and was ripe for the picking!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do our usual shop walk-around this week to check up on all the projects. I had a minor back surgery on Wednesday that's put me down for a few days, but we'll be back to normal scheduled programming next week with some big build updates!

A 22 year old that listens,works hard and pays attention make sure you give this kid a good annual raise and you will be able to keep him around, they are extremely hard to find

Dennis. When I was a young man in the late 70's I was seeing this girl, who's dad had an absolutley cherry 1969 XKE convertible. The color was willow green with black interior. It doesn't get better than that in my book. We took the Jag out one night on the back country roads of Northern Virginia.She let me drive.I was going very fast,( because that's what you do,right ?)
Going out on these very hilly roads,
I got the car air born. (that's what you don't do). I didn't wreck the car , but sure made a wreck out of her. She drove us home and that was the end of date. You sure made a lucky find there my friend.
Loving the barn find videos - Thank you! How about some follow-up videos that document the cleanup and restoration processes. It will be nice to document the whole story of finding, cleaning, restoring, and selling the car.
These vehicle buying videos never get old, please keep them coming!

They are 2+2+1 really 😊 when I was a kid, my brother and sister would sit in the back seats and I would sit in the boot with the dog. 130mph down the M5 motorway with my Mum screaming at my Dad to slow down 🤣
Great story..same with our 67 2+2+ my ass in the front passenger seat...remember the smell of brit leather in that thing, ours was a ugly Gold color.

My dad has a 2014 F150 pick up crew cab four-wheel-drive XLT it looks like brand new he cleans that he washes it all the time keeps a polish he appreciates your program that's why he watches it all the time

Carry a package of long zip ties and you can roll up your excess strap and zip tie it back to the strap itself. Years of specialized flatbed trucking taught me that trick.
I had a '65 4.2 Etype Roadster 40 years ago. The Etype has the most beautiful lines of any car ever made. I can only imagine what that car would be worth if I had it today.
Best looking car ever designed. Followed closely by the 300SL Gullwing

My new favorite youtube channel. When I was about 14 my dad's best friend had a new convertible XKE. I got to ride in the passenger seat with the top down and it was such a thrill. This hard top is just as exciting of a car. Thanks Dennis & Kelsey!

I have to agree the E type was and still is one of the best looking cars around
100 ft of cable is a good starting point i like to have anothwr 100ft of cable with loop ends teady for shackes (Dcleets )great find travelled 100s of miles in the back of a 2+2as a child many memores of how good the acceleration as well as the brakes lets see this one at various stages nice job denniss and team of course

I watched a 6’7” man climb out of one of these cars in a Kodak parking lot back in the ‘70’s. What an unusual sight. His legs had to go all the way to the front bumper.

Coupes yes, 2+2 not so much.
My moms friend had one. Last time saw it was late 70's it was yellow. Was told it was a 2+2 and hada v12 and a bar in it.
