Hi! I'm looking for a laptop for studying computer science. I prefer a lightweight, portable model without a dedicated GPU, as I'll primarily be using it at university. And also I would appreciate a good keyboard and high-quality screen. I've identified four laptops that stand out within my budget. Assuming they are all on sale in my country and prices are all the same ,which one is the best choice? 1- Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 (14' ) with Ryzen 8840HS, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, 60 Hz WUXGA OLED Display 2- Huawei Matebook 14 with Ultra 7 155H, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, 120 Hz 2.8K OLED Display 3- ASUS Zenbook 14 with Ultra 7 155H, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, 60 Hz WUXGA OLED Display 4- ASUS Vivobook S15 with Ryzen 8845HS, 32 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, 120 Hz 2.8K OLED Display
Could you recommend me a lightweight laptop that can do fairly good with gaming? I have a lenovo gaming laptop I bought 3 years ago, it's pretty good with gaming, it's so heavy tho.
Why don't you review Honor/Huawei laptops anymore? You review their phones. Some of their laptops are pretty interesting : Huawei Matebook X Pro 2024 & Honor Magicbook Art 14. It would be great if you could look into them.
I guess i look at too many laptops every day, which is why I look at Moooniz videos, but when I see a 16x9 display on a laptop it just sticks out; it feels like the top part of the screen is missing. I know companies want to keep weight down and want to call a 14" display 14 inches, even though it's smaller than a 14" 16x10 display, but user experience and satisfaction i think is more important than a spec sheet.
What do you think about the amd design wins? asus s16 has crazy battery life, but i think an s14 with amd chips that is not a full 12 core 24 threads would be great. 8core ryzen ai pro probably? i think it would beat lunar leak designs for cheaper.

Hey man, great informative video! I'll be travelling in the first 2 weeks of October and I am looking to buy a laptop. Where I am travelling to has them cheaper than where I am at right now. @@MatthewMoniz Gonna be doing just the normal office and google drive stuff and maybe edit a video once in a while paired with a bit of programming. Being able to play a few games occasionally would also be a nice bonus. I just really want a 16" OLED with reasonable battery time and good chips, if possible even a gpu like the G16. My only problem with the G16 is that it looks a bit gamery... Much better than the last models but the key font is still a bit weird. If it's good I could ignore it tho. The S16 is a real beauty!
It is still 'Intel Arc', Arc is Intel GPU marketing name just like 'GeForce' or 'Radeon'. You will see this word in every generation (if Intel doesn't cancel this).
