Pretty good tourist video but as a 42 year resident of Cocoa Beach, I can assure you that locals don't make a "beeline" to Lori Wilson Park. There's miles of beach here that are quieter and less crowded. The pier isn't what it used to be. To commercialize now. I don't know any of my neighbors that shop at the "Ron Jon Surf Shop Super Center". There are to many small, mom and pop shops here to support and buy your gear at with none of the Ron Jon like trinkets made in the Philippines. Overall, I enjoyed watching. Great quality. Side note. The reason why the I Dream of Jeannie Lane sign is mounted so high on a cement pole, is that when it was a normal street sign, people kept stealing it. LOL
Thanks for the nice piece on Cocoa Beach! I might be biased, but feel this is a great beach town! I like how you tied in Cocoa Village too. Besides the shops there you mentioned, Travis hardware is the areas oldest hardware store and has some cool things to explore
I love Cocoa Beach! Whatever you do, don't stay at Laquinta inn oceanfront by the pier, their new manager Kim is a one way street. So many other great hotels closer to the action and for less.
Your surf video at the end was more true to reality than the aqua water at the beginning. We do not have aqua water...we have what you showed at the end. You did a nice profile of this place. There are other features but you hit the top places. Fat Donkey has very good ice cream and a go to place for a visit and if you are downtown a go to place. Tiny Turtle next door is also a good place. Roberto's is sadly gone.
Hi, Chad. I am Mario Fom Brazil. Congratulation for your video. Was very interesting and show how is beautifull is Cocoa Beach. I felt wish to visit this place. Next time i'll travel to Florida, i'll visit Cocoa Beach.
Only thing on this list I haven't checked out was the Exploration Tower. Got to get there the next chance I get.(and the key lime shop). I used to work at a Wendy's on A1A in the area (now a Doller Tree). Didn't really get to check it out till I moved to Vero. Thanks for the Awesome video.
Finally went to Fat Donkey Ice Cream today and it is hands down the best ice cream I have ever eaten. Luckily my wife and I are in that area to see family so we will be making plenty of stops and also bringing back ice cream back to Orlando. Highly recommend!!!!!!
So weird... I didn't know Slater was from there and he's the only surfer I've "liked" on FB. I considered Cocoa... I want to move home to Fl but nowhere really feels like home. Maybe the past is just... the past.
Visited here 2 years ago from Ireland with my family and would love to live here, fantastic holiday
What did you do there
My husband and I are vacationing in Florida in may sooo excited!!
I was born here, my Mother grew up here during the late 40's and 50's. My Grandmother ran a diner during the late 40's, it was called Lee's diner.
Very cool!
Used to live there back in the space shuttle days... watched the video to see if I still remember everything!
Go to Cocoa beach every year from Minnesota. Love it and will love there someday:-) Thanks Chad 4 the cool 🎥

It's the home town of American Icons Major Nelson and Jeanie and Surfer Kelly Slater lol. He's only won 11 world titles
Hey Chad, I’m thinking about taking the wife there in February 2023. Is everything open now?
I believe most things on this list are open. Exploitation Tower is “closed until further notice” because of a maintenance project.
No coconuts is over priced and the food isn't even that good
Sharky.
Just was on vacation here. Smoked 3 Fat ass blunts on the beach ran into some females and had a night to rmr. Def coming back 10/10
