    Chad I love your videos! I'm heading out to Orlando for the 3rd time this year from Ireland its my partners and I's home from home. I'm thinking of getting down on one knee in February when we are out. I've rented a car and we hope to do more exploring than just the usual theme parks. You videos have give me some inspiration for a nice spot. Any recommendations big guy?

      We love downtown Fort Myers! We’re giving that area a little more time to recover from last year’s storm damage before doing a full feature.

      Matlacha It's lovely, and hopefully on the road to recovery after Ian. It's been awhile since I've been down there (I live in Orlando).

      We’ve spent some long weekends in Matlacha, long before we started making videos on YT. I understand Ian hit them pretty hard.

    Is there anyplace to go see alligators in the wild in Daytona?

    • @ChadGallivanter
      @ChadGallivanter  Год назад

      Back when we lived in Daytona more than a decade ago, we had a large gator who lived in the retention pond a few feet from our back porch in our apartment community. That’s pretty common. But if you want to see them in a more natural setting, I would recommend driving to the west side of the county and visiting the Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge in DeLeon Springs. They roam freely there and we have always managed to see one or two when we visit. You just have to be extremely careful and always stay aware.
