Making a very short easy level that has an alternate path to a troll level seems like a very clever way to sneak them under the radar.
Also it's nice for people playing no-skip runs :)
Not the actual porpuse tho, the description's 4th wall rule says you must get the red coin, which is on the top of the flagpole lol

I'd imagine the type of people to go for the easy win aren't the type to play the level in the first place. It kinda just defeats the purpose.
What an interesting concept. The troll part is played by the ones who want to do it. And... wow, the design and techniques are incredible. Makers like him are another level of knowledge and creativity.
This is crazy devious. Dave commented about how the one room was a double room, but I couldn't understand where the 'switch' happens. Looked it up in the level viewer. I'm a bit out of the loop on crazy glitches and what not, but the trickery can be seen exactly at 9:43
He loads into a door that is covered by a thwomp. Ordinarily, I'd think he should be sent back to where he came from. But instead, the game teleports him into the chamber to the left (the one in the middle) thus making it look like he entered that other door all along. At the 9:43 timestamp, you'll actually see Toadette on the thwomp.

I'm used to seeing that by manipulating exploding blocks or bullet launchers. This was a new one for me. No idea how the teleport works, but at least I know half of how it happened, lol
Since Dave didn't explain it in the video. There's an extra rule which is you must get the red coin

So creative. More troll levels should start doing this to avoid getting boo'ed, players like thabeast or people that get the level through endless run for example wouldn't have problems with the level if they get it in the run, with the option of just beating it right way

Would be hilarious if that last troll was a double troll where you like had to "fall down" before the sideways bouncer pokes out to catch you, and there's like another pipe hidden further down the hole, where you can get to like the "true, true ending..."

The amount of trust you had in Stevooooo... I really thought it would be a Holy Grail situation, where you never get your red coin.
Right before CP, he enters from a door that's actually behind the right thwomp, and gets teleported super fast to the door in the middle. You can see it if you look very closely.
And for once it is a troll level, that wouldn't completely destroy an endless run
I have been following you what has to be two years, and I love everything you do. When I get back on my feet officially, you for sure have a new subscriber and some merch. I have never laughed so hard so many times than watching what has to be the greatest troll level ever -- especially where the ramp platform ever-so-slowly makes you get imprisoned by, of all things, 2 gumbas who deliver you to your demise. Loved it, and love you buddy. Keep it going - you're daily watching for this guy and you've delivered smiles and laughs every time I've needed them. Much love.

Smart troll level... can be skipped/easily wow in a Mario challenge but can still be played as a Troll level if wished.

Every ending in MM is the same. Touch the flag, level ends. There is no "true ending".
I love 4th wall rules. Adds for a lot of creativity.
I was like "why its a 17 minutes video if its 2 second long?
I have to be honest, if a level is too short, like as in it only takes 2 seconds to beat it cause the flag is right their at the start, I instantly boo it.

I can't tell if the "No Way!" at 5:12 is meant to be a Taskmaster reference. It sounds so much like Chris Ramsey and even like he's using the accent, but I'm just not sure.
I suck at Mario games and I don't even really like them. So, what compelled me to watch this entire video for a level that would make me quit after a couple minutes (at best) if I were to play this?
