what about mine? when i close it, with a game in, it just makes a weird like "ee" sound then it might shut the whole thing off, or wont read the disc at all. its not making the usual disc spinning sound. what could this mean¿
I am really sorry for late answer. Can be broken laser flat cable, or some of microswitches on laser is not functioning or you can check is there some hair in motor shaft that block spinning.

Thank you, yea, I fixed few of them with similar fault, sometimes the flat cable is broken sometimes like in the video.

Hi, maybe some cable is unpluged/broken, that is first point to check. This motors are very durable so I do not think that some motor is broken...
Change your cr2032 battery lol
