One of my favourite disrupting heckler put downs is from Stephen K Amos. Gets the audience on his side, heckler is inappropriate and makes the audience do quiet. SKA: Hear that? [silence] you caused that. Audience laugh heckler. SKA: And I did that! That also kind of reminds me of one by Arthur Smith, which was a comedy master class. The backbone of it was: Talking about the difference between a groan and a laugh. AS: Segways into really bad pun based joke. Audience do a huge joke. AS: That's a groan. Audience laugh. AS: And that's a laugh! Audience pisses themselves. You have to have some experience and confidence to pull that one off. The pun joke was technically pretty terrible, too.

That "Oh, hilarious" had me dead. NOW you tell him? 🤣
Well to be fair I told him in the messages and as I handed him the book that I had included translations 😅
Something else that's funny about Stockholm Sweden, when you yell out the window late at night, a bunch of college students will also start yelling, almost sounding like a bunch of college wolf pack howls 😂
There's a video of it here on RUclips and it's hysterical
I'm just imagining Matt Rife breaking down every time an audience member interrupts. 😂
I'll be watching for stops near Detroit, Michigan. I live just across the border & will dust off my passport to attend!
All the best!🇨🇦
This is great but as a southerner you could knock me over with a feather if someone brought "grits" to one of your shows in Sweden lol
You sir are entertaining. Now to find more of your work. 😃
I think I'll show up at one of your shows and make you fly an indoor kite on stage!
You were in Sweden!? I can't believe i missed it. I'll just have to hope you come back. I'll make sure to bring a gift that I partially made myself.
I had talked with him before the show about the gift though, not sure if an unprompted gift without warning is a good thing 🫂
Legendary
Even though it was an interruption, it was wholesome and Drew was handling it hilariously but also honestly! This made me laugh so hard lol
I was deeply worried and afraid of interrupting but as I had talked with Drew before hand and that he knew about the gift I thought it was ok to hold it out, I hoped, I just didn’t realize he had forgotten about it but happy it went well in the end 🫂
Insane to see your progress drew, keep it up
omg what a fantastic bit
I love how much the audience enjoys the poor reading💀💀
Edit: had no idea about the apathetic-to-swedish correlation. I only know one Swedish person and he's a total goofball
He actually read most of it pretty well but it was funny hearing him ask what “skrattar” means while we were all laughing 😂
The backbone of it was:
Talking about the difference between a groan and a laugh.
Whoa, I didn't know you had Swedish heritage, that's awesome.
Hey Drew, looks like your back to 100% health. So happy to see. 🎉
You're so hilarious! 😂😂😂😂
That "syndrome" quip took a couple of seconds to land, then it was hilarious, which is absolutely the best kind of comedy.
Fantastic.

This comment is beginning to become as annoying as the first comments. You comment this on every video of his!
@@TheKatarinaGiselle This is my first time saying this, calm down woman and go cook me something.
@@CanadianBakin42O sure thing weirdo 🖕🏼(for the future, don't tag somebody if you want em to fuck off)
But Drew my boy, interaction with hecklers is kind of your thing 😁
I didn’t mean to heckle, I was afraid coming off like that, but seeing as Drew and I had already talked about the gift I hoped it would be ok and he reassured me it was ok after this clip 🫂
