I love how I've already seen every clip in this compilation. I know having hecklers suck but I won't lie, these vids from Drew are my favorite especially when he does the break down of them.
the audacity of some people is really mind-blowing. but you handled it so cool. I think you're still holding back, in your natural politeness though. IMO you could light them up more. 😂 loved the Tourette's - exchange, I think she went home with a smile on her face
Or, if you're at a comedy show, and any amount of jokes are not your thing or have a different opinion/values than your own....just don't laugh and queitly listen to the set, and hopefully jokes that are more up your ally. Because comedy shows aren't about individuals in the audience. I was at a Daniel Sloss show, and he made some political jokes that I didn't agree with (and yes, politics absolutely belongs in comedy), so I just didn't laugh and waited patiently for the set to continue to grow and evolve. I think Sloss is super talented and funny. Just some of his jokes weren't my thing. So, I did absolutely nothing about it because the jokes were for others in the audience.
While I do know what you’re getting at, there are individuals, like those with autism, that struggle to pick up on social queues, including satire and sarcasm. As one of those people, I can certainly say that even at a comedy club this still can happen.
The problem isn't even not getting the joke, but reacting like someone emotionally unstable, they could've just left the show if they didn't liked the joke, it's a lack of self respect even.
Going into the field of battle, assuming this is just a friendly game of dodge-ball, and somehow disarming the opponent through just pure, on-the-spot wit is so satisfying and fun to watch.
I have watched you for years and I think you just keep getting funnier 😂! You are so polite that even when you give someone a zinger, it is just so courteous. ❤ I hate that a couple of those “hecklers”, I would say they are worse, were so rude and just plain mean. You handled it very well. 😊
Best compilation of crowdwork in the universe. Pure flippin' gold. I'm so happy to have been here since the start. Happy to see all you've achieved, and your rewards. Happy to see you happy. That crowdwork was just off the charts hilarious. Well done buddy 💜🇨🇦
Seriously such a joy to watch. Dude you are really dialing in your craft. So masterfully handled. Warms my heart to see your success after fighting for so long.
Just got my ticket to your show in Chico Drew. I can't wait to be part of the fun! I'm glad I finally get to make it😄 I'll be the short guy with a fedora in one of the front rows, haha. God bless! P.S. I forgot my fedora😂
I still wonder if you've got a clip from the show in Amsterdam where you were wearing that orange shirt. You were doing that skit on how the dutch people go to war (go to the highest hill on your bike) and I yelled: "We don't have hills" In my memory it was really funny but I can't tell anyone exactly what it was like because it is only funny in the moment. Thus it's become a memory I wish I had a clip of
I remember seeing the post about the couple that got kicked out, the one being a prick, and the ice crunching, what an extremely big, douche bag, and the situation that followed was given crazier SMH.
I love you for your quick-witted responses - as you are so, so, so good at it...and I'm pretty sure about everyone else feels similarly. I just hope these occasional Mr Poopy Pants type people that seem to live on disrupting comedy shows (and in society in general) don't get you to shift focus on your show. Just prepare for your show and don't worry about the Poopy Pants - as you're well equipped to bitch slap them back to their life of misery in an instant. Your instincts have you covered.
Someone who knew my grandfather but not me asked how my grandfather was. He'd been dead for two years. I said, "unfortunately he's passed away, so he's resting now." We happened to be at a funeral. Very awkward.
I think the issue is that Drew comes off as a novice comedian. That invites hecklers because they don't see the sort of confidence that most popular comedians have, he doesn't seem like the type who can control the crowd. Drew is a great comedian, but his personal style is unorthodox compared to the skills he has. He will probably get heckled a lot for his whole career, unfortunately. Or maybe Fortunately, since it makes for great videos. I'll be here for it.
You might be new here. The dude uses hecklers quite a lot and actually has it far more under control than it seems. There are only a few that ended up with people being off their rocker. He's said that engagement like he's known for is always up to his discretion, but he invites audience interaction and has talked in depth about how he assesses how the crowd is responding when it happens and overall if it will work or if he needs to shut it down. He's got a ton of off the cuff stuff due to audience members interrupting, usually with good intentions or even on accident.
The “these were jokes”
IS CLEANNNNNNNN PFJAHAHAJA

Just came up with the theme song for the duo act. 9:20. I the tune of Benny and the Jets. "St st st st stutter and tourette's."
Roasting hecklers is hilarious every time.
1:30 - I adore Drews squeaky laugh. Its like a squeaky dog toy or rubber duck but it makes me want to laugh with him.
I always love the stories you tell with your jokes, but Drew your crowd work is top-notch!!!
“I just want to feel again” ( squeezes lemons in her eyes). Hilarious! ❤
People that don’t get comedy or jokes need to not be there and go to therapy instead
Absolutely

Hecklers getting heckled by the comedian is the best
Your crowd work is the best! So funny!
Nice! Long video😊
When you were telling the joke about the sweet you could’ve eaten it in that timeb😂😂😂😂😂
I remember seeing the post about the couple that got kicked out, the one being a prick, and the ice crunching, what an extremely big, douche bag, and the situation that followed was given crazier SMH.

Can we actually bring fruit to your live show or will you get kicked out for doing so?
I want to follow him on tour and at every show ask how Stella is doing.
That's not remotely cool and you probably know it if you want to intentionally being a dick.
Drew, you're B-B-B-B-BAD 🎵Say hi to Stella for me! Do they have Ouija boards for pets? B------A-------R-------K.
U trying to be rude or something
What a pitiful attempt to hurt a comedians feelings. You’re gonna need more than middle school insults. I’m sure you can do better bud.
Well I just wasted 21 minutes
I mean one would figure that if you hadn't laughed after the first five you could have clicked away this is really on you
???? That sounds like a you problem.
Why watch if ya don't like it?
