LT77 and R380 gearboxes have internal filters on the pick up pipe to ensure the oil pump pic up doesn't pull metal particles into it. Swarf on the drain plug you have to note to see if there is a big build up. Could indicate a problem. Visually see if there is a lot of grey and bronze suspended in the oil. This will be from the bulk rings. Good vid BTW.
