    3 years old video and I still go back to it each year. Your maintenance series is the best production.

    Brilliant video guys, beautifully broken down step by step and easy to follow - better than the worship manual! Safe travels from Warren and Colleen, Queensland, Australia.

    I use a emptied 1 litre soap pump bottle, which i rinsed out with boiling water then attached 1 meter of hose to. Cause €25 for a plastic pump is insanely expensive. My bottle was free & i throw it in the recycling bin when I'm done.

    Nice!! You mentioned not GL5 oil on the transfer box but the oil you put includes GL5. Am I missing something here?

    thanks for our videos. They are great. Do you know if the Castrol Syntrax Universal Plus 75W90 is good for the transfer box? Thanks

      Thanks! If it's a GL4-5 it should be okay, if not please refer to workshop manual.

    Hello dearest Offtrack-Family,
    Do you still use the Laser-Pump to fill the gearbox and/or the transferbox? Can you still recommend this tool?

    • @offtrackfamily
      @offtrackfamily  4 года назад

      Yes we still use it and do recommend it as it's a very useful accessory.

    What about GL-5 Oil? For the 2.2 Litres Puma there is a recommendation for only GL-5 Oil for the same transfer-box.

    • @offtrackfamily
      @offtrackfamily  4 года назад +1

      We never used GL-5 for our transfer box. If you're not sure about which oil to choose you can go for the oil Motul Gear 300. We are sure that this one goes for 2.4 & 2.2 tdci.

      Pour information, Motorex conseille en 1ère position dans son sélecteur d'huile une GL-5.

    A torque wrench should only be used to tighten bolts to a specific torque -- hence it's name. You can use a ratchet wrench or other type but not a torque wrench!

    • @offtrackfamily
      @offtrackfamily  5 лет назад +2

      Hi David. Yes it's absolutely true you can use a simple wrench to tighten those plugs. But in the workshop manual it's written that we have to tighten them to a specific torque: 30nm. That's why we recommend using the torque wrench but it should be also fine without ☺.
