Kobe Bryant led the Los Angeles Lakers to glory 5 times, won 2 Olympic Gold Medals and even an Oscar! He was an author, businessman and most importantly a family man. He was an inspiration for millions of people around the world. The Basketball Legend adopted the Mamba Mentality of working hard every day, which led him to achieve his dreams.
Kobe Bryant introduced himself to the world of basketball at a very young age with jersey number 8. Some years later, he gave himself the nickname Black Mamba and switched his jersey to number 24. After Kobe Bryant ended his professional career, the Los Angeles Lakers retired both numbers into the rafters of their arena to honor Kobe Bryant's legacy on the court.
Kobe Bryant's death came as a shock to the entire world when the NBA star died tragically alongside his beloved daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash. Kobe Bryant's life and legacy goes well beyond his basketball career with the NBA and Kobe Bryant will be forever remembered as the basketball legend who inspired the next generation.
