I'm voting yes 100%, we are now going to get Trifecta of dragon hunter weapons adding a staff/wand, and now will have a Trifecta of demonbane instead of the sole Arclight. Looking forward to these additions with excitement!
The bow uses traditional ammo which gives a lot of ranged str bonus where the bowfa doesn’t so it might be even closer to bowfa with like amethyst arrows+
@@Mobius-ce1zx not always, but now you're getting into to many specifcs if you include basic crystal bow with that armour, i was just talking about the weapons them selves, the demonbane bow can hit 45s with elite void on normal monsters whilst the normal crystal bow can hi 40s in crystal armour so alot of variables like defence come into play then. but low defence this new bow wins.
The scaling of demonbane melee weapons is super weird. Level 1 has Silverlight and Darklight. Level 75 has Arclight and Firelight. 4 swords, but no scaling and no midgame swords. & why would anyone still want the Arclight, when Firelight is released?
We are on the same brain wave. I'm pumped for this update and congratulate Jagex for making a stellar introduction to niche weapons. Theyre definitely worth grinding out but wont be something game breaking
the demonbane weapons seem cool but I dont like the claws. theres like 400 dead melee weapons that could have their special attacks adjusted to fill that gap between dds and dragon claws and magic users have 3 special attacks, 2 of which cost 3x as much as the dragon claws so where the fuck is the gap fill for mage users?

Not sure how adding new rewards that outperform all but the very best weapons in the game for their given niche is considered an Ironman update? This does exactly as intended and gives Jagex a way to introduce future demonic creatures as well

The Arclight upgrade is good, but we don't need more weapons, they just added more from the new expansion. They should just add non-tradeable recipes that you can obtain and learn and make non-tradable potions.

It would make no sense to make it an attachment to regular claws. Also, they are releasing new potions with other content already mah man🤔

The Firelight will melt Duke. With those stats, it's going to be the strongest weapon in-game. (But only against demons)

Great way to look at it - they tried doing this with the original design of the duelling wand but I genuinely think they've got this one right
Imbued heart should be added to TDs drop table. It's ridiculous that the heart can only be obtained as a lottery drop from superior slayer monsters

Both the bow and staffs raw stats make it pretty competitive against non-demons compared to other mid game items.
