Blackhole is barely controlled chaos. It somehow all works together, but Blackhole requires multiple (more than usual) listens to get your brain around it.
Black Hole is such a mindF the first time you hear it, you end up holding onto the vocal for dear life amid the chaos. The more you listen to it you realize that it all makes sense, it all fits together honestly really cleverly. That said, how they manage to perform that live without completely falling apart I have no idea. Regarding your idea of parallel solos, they honestly do that more than you'd expect. MISA is very often walking her bass all over the place during Kanami's more front-facing solos.
I think MISA plays lead bass lines about 75% of the time. It's been a while since we had a "Play" 3-way intro so i'll phone Miku & ask them to do another one for you, GG.🙂
J-LOD was a Japanese government initiative to help artists through the covid lockdowns. They gave grants to artists to put out video's of their work. One of the stipulations was that the video's must be 5 minutes or longer in duration. Band-Maid have no 5 minute songs so they put out two songs on each J-LOD video. Both of these tracks were taken Band-Maids online concert livestreamed on May 10th 2021. Another great J-LOD video the Maids put out was "Dice" & "Different" - it's worth checking out! 😎🤘
And J-LOD is a bloody good scheme too. That's probably why Japanese bands are leading the way in Rock & Metal cos they have support whereas the west is just a bit...um...crap.😂

I feel like sometimes you can just hear what Kanami's influences are after she writes specific songs. And here in Black Hole - I think she binged every Frank Zappa album before writing anything. LOL
