I am anti-Boris, anti-Rees-Mogg and a remainer. Which changes nothing - the interviewer was toe-curlingly embarrassing. If you ask a question, you should allow the interviewee to respond. This was just damn rude, and did not even allow us to form an opinion as to what R-M represents. Channel 4: please read all of these comments and replace this man with someone competent. Krishnan needs to engage in some introspection and realise when the person that he is interviewing has a greater knowledge on the matter they are discussing. Jacob Rees-Mogg knows more than most people when it comes to the workings of parliament and Krishnan might learn something from Jacob if he interrupted him less frequently. 'Getting rid of the backstop' implies (unfortunately) to have a customs border between Northern (IK)-Ireland and Southern (EU)-Ireland. 'A final offer is always a debateable Point' says JRM and he's right. 'If the law is the law in this clear way, we woudn't need courts..' says JRM. Perfect, logical rebuttal do the interviewer's insistance upon the 'Extension deadline 31st October 2019'. And then we learn about the difference between 'illegal' and unlawful'. The Court judgement is werong and therefore the Queen didn't do anthing 'unlawful'. Perfect rebuttal again. The interviewer is anthing but equal to the level of intellectual virtuosity in argumentation as is JRM. And that he, as a gentleman as he is, won't comment about any gossip that dated back 20 years, is just the proof that JMR knows what such status demands in regards to discretion.

No , the QUEEN was not given unlawful advice, how so , you ask, because at the time the advice was given it was lawful , it only became unlawful after the Supreme court gave its judgement and past acts therefore cannot fall within its scope of review , so by judicial interpretation a new law has been created , and even a court of law cannot change the past and make a lawful act , unlawful .

That interviewer is just an embarrassment to himself and the news program. He should be sacked.

This much praise on BoJo, who was caught having invented several stories he published as journalist, drags your own credibility into doubt. As if people weren't able to remember!

Despite my largely positive attitude towards R-M, I have reservations about his 'the backstop is fundamental'. If it was fundamental why did he vote of the May deal on its third time up? Similarly, with Boris. I was, indeep am, tempted to vote for the Brixit after that.
