Watch the Ritual mate, bit of a slow one but great premise😂 the story line is executed beautifully and the suspense creates the horror,. The theme of the scare is witchcraft and paganism
mush So because I think a film is terrible, it suggests I didn’t know the plot...? It’s not a good film. Clearly I just rate films higher that are too complex for you to understand.
Hereditary gave me such a impending sense of doom like, make you feel sick kinda of creepy. Absolutely awful the kind of scary you think about all night and I think that's rare these days. The Boy I actually quite enjoyed (was on Amazon Prime but may be gone now). Some people hated it but I thought it was pretty decent, might be worth a wee watch.
Terrible film, genuinely. I’m a massive horror fan and it’s so incredibly over-rated. Ari Aster has become a ‘fashionable’ director but can never develop characters and storylines correctly.
@@Daniel_243 i'm british n id say the same thing, its subjective, its not like america tried any of our concepts and butchered it... cough cough inbetweeners

Annihilation is an interesting horror movie, I reccomend it: cool concept and special effects, leaves you wanting more... I loved the bear scene. And yeah I can't wait for A Quiet Place 2 to come out, really digged the first one.
I watched the visit with my sister years ago. We had no idea that it was a Shyamalan movie or even what Shyamalan is known for so it was a great experience. Totally blind, didn't expect a thing
I was so so so glad to see hush in this. I love that film, its so well shot, with great performances. I've watched it countless times since the week it came out.
Hereditary was a good film but the whole scary vibe was kill for me right at the end because I just ended up laughing my tits off, if you haven't seen it watch it but watch out for a bit near the end 😂😂
Sinister and Hereditary are class horror movies Other great ones as a horror fan are The Witch (one of the best horrors would highly recommend) and Blair Witch Project (original) The ritual is pretty good too for those that haven’t seen
Please do a Bly manor review when it’s out!! Might be worth watching the 1961 ‘The Innocents’ as well- Bly manor is loosely based on the book that ‘The Innocents’ is based on!!! Great video as always!!
would’ve personally put insidious in god tier but they may be because they were the first ones i started to watch, apart from that id agree with them all. Great vid ❤️
What about a tier list of all horrors, regardless of platform? god tier = grave encounters, evil dead, hereditary, the conjuring, paranormal activity (iconic)
You really need to watch 'Veronica' on Netflix! It's in Spanish so you have to use subtitles, but if you don't mind that it's really one that shouldn't be missed. A modern day Exorcist done well. I would love to know where it fits in your tier list.
Watch The Visit! That movie is amazing! Good few jump scares for me. The movie is just weird, it’s freaky. It’s got a plot twist. It’s a great, great, great movie!! You need to watch it!
Also, please do a reaction on Megan Is Missing! It’s so scary.. and so real. I’d love to see your review/reaction to this movie but you’d need to trim a few bits out near the end as I don’t think RUclips would allow it to be watched if you filmed the full thing as it is honestly the scariest thing I’ve watched because it’s just so real, these kinds of things happen every day! Please please please do a review/reaction to this!
Open house wasn’t scary at all but I quite enjoyed my parents were big horror movie fans so I grew up watching them so nothing fazes me litrally don’t even get scared over anything
Agree with most of these but I think the platform and unfriended should be switched.. I think unfriended was highly overrated when I saw it in cinema years ago and I think the platform is something so different and messed up but I prefer psychological thrillers and ones that make you question why it exists because it’s so weird 😂 it’s your tier list but that’s my opinion I guess 🤷🏻♀️
The thing about the horror genre is horror varies to people eg some people enjoy gory horror/ some people enjoy slashers/ some people enjoy cliffhangers and eerie horror my preference is like creepy cult/ ancient god horrors such as (The Ritual) another one would be (Midsommar) I find them scary just for the pure fact that it’s potentially a real thing However I have to give props to the creators of (The Nun) and the Annabelle prequels also the conjurings they’re also some decent horror films Just as I’m ready comments another strange horror would be (The Taken of Deborah logan) it’s not really scary but it’s eerie and odd
I find so many movies I watch it in cinema and it’s great but then I watched it at home and think it’s rubbish. I definitely think the first time watching is always the best because you don’t know what’s coming.
Have you seen Midsommar. Made by the same guy who made Hereditary. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen. So disturbing because it's something that could actually happen. It's a cult movie. If you haven't seen it give it a watch😄👍
I luv horror movie's. But I've not got time for zombie movie's. I see enough of them in Sheffield busting some crazy body moves, or doing a balancing act while being in a coma. Ain't nobody got time for that or that type of spice!. 😅
Hush is the best slasher film I think I've ever seen. And Apostle was very underwhelming to me, it didn't get you invested into the characters at all and the pacing was all over the place. And if you love Lovecraft then play Bloodborne.
Not sure if it’s still on Netflix but you should watch the ritual, it’s surprisingly brilliant!! Also opinions on slender man? If you’ve seen it... otherwise don’t bother 😂
You're missing out - you should include foreign horror movies. You'll find movies that are much better than these. The only one I liked from your list was hereditary.
Honestly when it comes to Netflix horror movies I would just leave the top 2 tiers empty, most of them are just absolute crap. If you love your horror then get a Shudder subscription instead because theres actually quite a lot of decent movies.
I dont know why he rated the platform in good tier, guys its a god tier movie. I don't wanna disrespect this guy & his opinion but 'the platform' is a banger & definitely worth watching
No way is the U.S office better than the U.K one. The U.K is a lot more hidden humour and the characters are more believable, unlike the U.S where they just totally out there!
@@matty6848 i get what you mean. The UK office is more realistic and believable, but the US office is funnier. I feel like the UK office is more watchable though because it represents sadness in a lighter way
The scariest movie I have ever watched was a film called the Poughkeepsie tapes. Search it up, I had to watch it on some website. But fuck me mate it got shitting myself
Not seen any comments about this film but you should watch Climax, it’s easily the scariest and most real horror film on Netflix but it’s also beautifully shot and acted. Also btw it’s french so subtitles.
I like the Light's Out Movie it is a horror movie where a monster haunts and kills its victim in the dark the concept is great and the atmosphere is great for horror seriously for me atmospheric horror is better than movies that are like "KILL KILL KILL"
You should watch XXX, its 4 horror stories by different female directors and it's amazing!! Also DEFINITELY watch Holidays, its so good yet so disturbing :))
You should edit it to keep the tier list visible all the time not just blend it in for a split second and maybe write the titles clearly so it's easier to see. It's a really long over 20 min video and some people just want to see the tier lost not watch the entire thing and memorize all the movies.

i think apostle could have been so much better if the ending was a little more thought out....
Literally just about to watch it
yeah i love how hereditary isn’t jump scary it really just makes u feel sick to the stomach and unsettled
Hereditary is shocking it’s absolutely awful, don’t get the hype
I thought bird box was absolutely shite so overrated
Yeah bird box is overrated
It could have been brilliant but they fucked it up
Got to politely disagree. It was okay. Not brilliant, but not shite at all.
Overated yea but I think it was still good
yeah it’s crazy Toni Colette didn’t even get nominated for the oscar, guess it the academy’s bias towards horrors.
Don’t like the ending to platform. Could be much bettet
Yes the ending was so disappointing, where as the most of the movie was pretty good!
The ending was sooo bad
The Platform only I'm good??? That's one of my favourites. Shit dubbing though
Seems like they weren't sure what to do with the ending tbh
Max I think it’s interpretive
Loved it, reminded me of Cube
Its better to listen in the original audio
Just put on subtitles
The amount of people sleeping on hereditary is criminal, it’s an absolute masterpiece in my opinion
Only some casual audiences sleep on it, majority of critics see it as one of the best horror movies of this century
Who has slept on hereditary?
Just watched it a couple of days ago and I 100% agree. One of the better movies overall I’ve seen in a long time.
It was okay
Terrible film, genuinely. I’m a massive horror fan and it’s so incredibly over-rated. Ari Aster has become a ‘fashionable’ director but can never develop characters and storylines correctly.
