Let me tell you what happened to my best friend in Feb this year. the guy he sat next to on the bus just kept engaging him in a conversation and when they got to Mtito Andei, he offered to buy him coffee. Now Muslims have a 'sort of' rule that when a fellow Muslim offers you food, you are 'sort of' obliged to take it. My friend says he took a sip (1 sip) form the coffee and he woke up 3 days later. Mkuru, my friend lost everything he had that day. Upon investigations, he found out that he had mshwari loan, his cash on mpesa had been withdrawn and they even taken okoa jahazi. Since they had his I.D they changed most of his pins so he couldn't access the accounts. So he almost lost his life due to high dosage they used to drug him, woke up to loans he has to repay, lost everything and now battling depression. Whats worse is the law enforcement cannot help him. Other than keeping the general public on high alert, can we also look for ways we can rally for action to be taken by the law enforcement. Just a suggestion
