If you have not been servicing your account you need KRA clearance to activate your account it happed to me with Equity Bank, incase you have not been filing your returns then you have to pay for the fines but you can always apply for waiver, so watu wafile returns, after you are cleared by KRA, the bank doe not need a single cent to activate your account. watu wakae rada
